頃之、世不復見我、惟爾見我、以我生、爾亦必生、

尚有片時、而世不復見我、惟爾曹見我、因我生、爾亦必生、

瞬息之間、世將不復見予、爾獨見予。蓋予永生、爾亦因以有生焉。

Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.

“ In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”

But Jesus told them,“ I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.

Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.

Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.I am the true bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will not die as your ancestors did( even though they ate the manna) but will live forever.”

Who then will condemn us? No one— for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

Jesus told her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.

For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.

So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.

The Scriptures tell us,“ The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam— that is, Christ— is a life giving Spirit.

Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies.So we live in the face of death, but this has resulted in eternal life for you.

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

Jesus replied,“ My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.

Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can’t come where I am going.

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us.We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Later Jesus said to them again,“ I am going away. You will search for me but will die in your sin. You cannot come where I am going.”

But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.
