Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.

This is my command: Love each other.

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard.Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture,“ Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.

For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another.

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command:“ Love your neighbor as yourself.”

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.It does not dishonor others, it is not self- seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,then make my joy complete by being like- minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Finally, all of you, be like- minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people—

Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more,

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native- born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.
