If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

我是你们的主，你们的夫子，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也当彼此洗脚。

因此，如果我——你们的主、你们的老师，还洗你们的脚，那么你们也应该彼此洗脚。

我為主、為師、猶濯爾足、則爾曹亦宜相濯足也、

我為主為師、猶濯爾足、則爾曹更宜相與濯足矣、

我為主為師、猶濯爾足、爾曹亦當互相濯足、

然予以師以主之身、猶且濯爾之足、則爾等亦宜互為濯足矣。

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.

Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for“ God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said,‘ It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn’t it he who sits at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered.Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,

Therefore if food causes my brother to stumble, I will eat no meat forever more, that I don’t cause my brother to stumble.

make my joy full by being like- minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus,who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.

But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.Whoever of you wants to become first among you, shall be bondservant of all.For the Son of Man also came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

For though I was free from all, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law.To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written,“ The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”

looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Now I Paul, myself, entreat you by the humility and gentleness of Christ, I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.

In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another;
