If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you too ought to wash one another’s feet.

我是你们的主，你们的夫子，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也当彼此洗脚。

我是你们的主，你们的老师，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也应当彼此洗脚。

我是你们的主，你们的老师，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也应当彼此洗脚。

我是你们的老师又是你们的主，尚且给你们洗脚，你们更应当彼此洗脚。

我是主，是老师，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也应当彼此洗脚。

因此，如果我——你们的主、你们的老师，还洗你们的脚，那么你们也应该彼此洗脚。

因此，如果我——你們的主、你們的老師，還洗你們的腳，那麼你們也應該彼此洗腳。

我為主、為師、猶濯爾足、則爾曹亦宜相濯足也、

我為主為師、猶濯爾足、則爾曹更宜相與濯足矣、

我為主為師、猶濯爾足、爾曹亦當互相濯足、

然予以師以主之身、猶且濯爾之足、則爾等亦宜互為濯足矣。

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.

I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet. So you also should wash one another’s feet.

If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.

So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.

So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

If I then,[ your] Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.

In the same way, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

By all these things, I have shown you that by working in this way we must help the weak, and remember the words of the Lord Jesus that he himself said,‘ It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Not so with you; instead the one who is greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the one who serves.For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table, or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is seated at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

So, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin,

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another.

Although he was a son, he learned obedience through the things he suffered.And by being perfected in this way, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

For this reason, if food causes my brother or sister to sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I may not cause one of them to sin.

complete my joy and be of the same mind, by having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose.Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself.Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well.You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had,who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped,but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature.He humbled himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death– even death on a cross!

But it is not this way among you. Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of all.For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Brothers and sisters, if a person is discovered in some sin, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness. Pay close attention to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

It must not be this way among you! Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave–just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

For since I am free from all I can make myself a slave to all, in order to gain even more people.To the Jews I became like a Jew to gain the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law( though I myself am not under the law) to gain those under the law.To those free from the law I became like one free from the law( though I am not free from God’s law but under the law of Christ) to gain those free from the law.To the weak I became weak in order to gain the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that by all means I may save some.

But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not just please ourselves.Let each of us please his neighbor for his good to build him up.For even Christ did not please himself, but just as it is written,“ The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”

keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

Now I, Paul, appeal to you personally by the meekness and gentleness of Christ( I who am meek when present among you, but am full of courage toward you when away!)–

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich, he became poor for your sakes, so that you by his poverty could become rich.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. Do not be conceited.

Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.
