这样的人不明白，也不领悟，因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼使他们不能看见，蒙蔽他们的心使他们不能明悟。他们不反思，也没有知识和聪慧来说：“我用一半的木头烧火，又在火炭上烘饼，烤肉吃。我怎么能用剩下的木头制造可憎之物呢？我怎么能向一块木头膜拜呢？”他们追求的只是灰烬；他们的心受了迷惑，使他们偏离正道；他们不能救自己，也不会说：“我右手中的，难道不是虚谎之物吗？”

但如果我做了，你们即使不相信我，也该相信这些事。这样，你们就会知道并体会父在我里面，我也在父里面。”

如果不是派我来的父引领他，没有人能到我这里来；到我这里来的，在末日我还要使他复活。

他们眼中充满了淫欲和无止境的罪；他们引诱不坚定的人；他们心中习惯了贪婪；他们是被诅咒的儿女；
