众人回答他：“我们从律法中听到，基督是永远长存的。你怎么说‘人子必须被举起来’呢？这‘人子’到底是谁？”

眾人回答他：「我們從律法中聽到，基督是永遠長存的。你怎麼說『人子必須被舉起來』呢？這『人子』到底是誰？」

眾曰、我聞律云、基督永存、爾何言人子將見舉乎、此人子誰耶、

眾曰、我聞律云、基督永存、爾何言人子必見舉、人子誰乎、

眾曰、我聞律法云、基督永存、爾何言人子必見舉、此人子為誰、

眾曰：『吾聞諸律法云：「基督永留、」今汝曰：「人子必須被舉」何也？且所謂人子者、誰耶？』

The crowd spoke up,“ We have heard from the Law that the Messiah will remain forever, so how can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this‘ Son of Man’?”

The crowd spoke up.“ The Law tells us that the Messiah will remain forever,” they said.“ So how can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this‘ Son of Man’?”

So the crowd answered him,“ We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

The crowd responded,“ We understood from Scripture that the Messiah would live forever. How can you say the Son of Man will die? Just who is this Son of Man, anyway?”

Then the crowd replied to him,“ We have heard from the law that the Messiah will remain forever. So how can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The crowd then answered Him,“ We have heard from the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how is it that You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The people answered Him,“ We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The multitude therefore answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

Then the crowd replied to Him,“ We have heard from the scripture that the Messiah will remain forever. So how can You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

Then the crowd responded,“ We have heard from the law that the Christ will remain forever. How can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The multitude answered him,“ We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. How do you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up?’ Who is this Son of Man?”

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. (niv)

“‘ My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees.They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. (niv)

He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. (niv)

The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind:“ You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” (niv)

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (niv)

May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. Then all nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen. (niv)

Jesus answered them,“ Is it not written in your Law,‘ I have said you are“ gods”’? (niv)

Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” (niv)

Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. (niv)

“ In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. (niv)

He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. (niv)

that his line will continue forever and his throne endure before me like the sun;it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” (niv)

I will make the lame my remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The Lord will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever. (niv)

Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.’ (niv)

Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. (niv)

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. (niv)

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,“ Who do people say the Son of Man is?” (niv)

By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished. (niv)

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked,“ Who is this?” (niv)

Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?”Jesus replied,“ If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word.Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”“ You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him,“ and you have seen Abraham!”“ Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered,“ before Abraham was born, I am!” (niv)

And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” (niv)

“ What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”“ The son of David,” they replied.He said to them,“ How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him‘ Lord’? For he says,“‘ The Lord said to my Lord:“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”’If then David calls him‘ Lord,’ how can he be his son?” (niv)

In his days may the righteous flourish and prosperity abound till the moon is no more. (niv)

But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law:‘ They hated me without reason.’ (niv)
