平旦、眾曳耶穌出蓋法署、解往督轅、而眾未遽入、恐為所浼而不得食免難羔也。

洗手滌餘穢。留連於閟幄。

親近天主、則天主必殷勤相愛矣。吾願作惡者皆洗濯其手、而二三其德者皆純潔其心也。

免難節既近、耶穌自知離世歸父之時將至；平生篤愛其在世之徒、至是愛之彌篤、蔑以加矣。

爾曹儘可自行、予則時機未熟、尚不擬赴節。』言畢獨留加利利。諸昆弟既赴節、彼亦微行上京、惟未嘗公然為之耳。

務必正心誠意、深自反省、然後可食斯餅、而領斯爵。
