When he was overcome by sleep, he fell down from the third story and was picked up dead.But Paul went down, fell on him, embraced him, and said,“ Don’t be alarmed, for his life is in him!”After going upstairs, breaking the bread, and eating, Paul conversed a considerable time until dawn. Then he left.They brought the boy home alive and were greatly comforted.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die— ever. Do you believe this?”

“ I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.

He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.

Then He gave them strict orders that no one should know about this and said that she should be given something to eat.

and the Living One. I was dead, but look— I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Then God said,“ Let there be light,” and there was light.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I replied,“ Lord God, only You know.”He said to me,“ Prophesy concerning these bones and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!This is what the Lord God says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live.I will put tendons on you, make flesh grow on you, and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you so that you come to life. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”So I prophesied as I had been commanded. While I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.As I looked, tendons appeared on them, flesh grew, and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.He said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man. Say to it: This is what the Lord God says: Breath, come from the four winds and breathe into these slain so that they may live!”So I prophesied as He commanded me; the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, a vast army.

And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to anyone He wants to.

Stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying there, yet he did not go in.

The Lord brings death and gives life; He sends some to Sheol, and He raises others up.

I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death. Death, where are your barbs? Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion is hidden from My eyes.

Then they took Jesus’ body and wrapped it in linen cloths with the aromatic spices, according to the burial custom of the Jews.

For He spoke, and it came into being; He commanded, and it came into existence.

“ Remove the stone,” Jesus said. Martha, the dead man’s sister, told Him,“ Lord, he’s already decaying. It’s been four days.”
