耶穌的裹頭巾則捲著放在另一處，沒有和細麻布放在一起。

有個名叫猶推古的青年坐在窗臺上聽道。保羅講了許久，猶推古不勝困倦睡著了，竟從三樓掉了下去。別人將他抱起來時，他已經死了。保羅下去伏在他身上，抱著他對眾人說：「不要驚慌，他還活著！」保羅說完就回到樓上，與大家一同掰餅、用餐，又談了很久，直到天亮才離去。大家非常欣慰地把活過來的猶推古送回了家。

我和父本為一。」

耶穌說：「我是復活，我是生命。信我的人雖然死了，也必復活。凡活著信我的人必永遠不死。你相信嗎？」

我實實在在地告訴你們，時候快到了，現在就是，死人將聽見上帝兒子的聲音，聽見的將存活。

那死者就坐了起來，並開口說話。耶穌把他交給他母親。

那時，祂要以降服萬物的大能將我們這卑賤的軀體改變成像祂那樣榮耀的身體。

耶穌鄭重叮囑他們不要把這事張揚出去，又吩咐他們給女孩東西吃。

我是永活者。我曾經死過，但看啊，我永永遠遠活著。我掌握死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

上帝說：「要有光！」就有了光。

祂對我說：「人子啊，這些骸骨能復活嗎？」我說：「主耶和華啊，只有你知道。」祂又對我說：「你對這些骸骨發預言說，『枯骨啊，你們要聽耶和華說的話！主耶和華說，我要使氣息進入你們裡面，你們就必復活過來。我必給你們加上筋，使你們長出肉，再包上皮，將氣息放在你們裡面，你們就復活了。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。』」於是，我便按耶和華的吩咐向枯骨發預言，我正說預言的時候，忽然有震動的聲音，骨頭便連在了一起。我又發現骨頭上有了筋，長了肉，包上了皮，只是還沒有氣息。耶和華對我說：「人子啊，你要向風說預言，告訴風，主耶和華這樣說，『風啊，從四方吹來，吹在這些被殺的人身上，使他們復活。』」於是，我便按耶和華的吩咐說預言，氣息就進入他們裡面，他們便復活了，並且站立起來，成為一支大軍。

父如何使死人復活、賜生命給他們，子也照樣想賜生命給誰，就賜給誰。

他並沒有進去，只是探頭往裡看，看見細麻布還在那裡。

耶和華掌管生死，祂使人進入墳墓，也使人起死回生。

我要把他們從陰間的權勢下贖回嗎？我要救他們脫離死亡嗎？死亡啊，你去降災給他們吧！陰間啊，你去毀滅他們吧！我不會再憐憫他們。

他們按照猶太人殯葬的習俗，用細麻布加上香料把耶穌的遺體裹好。

因為祂一發話，就創造了天地；祂一命令，就立定了萬物。

耶穌說：「把石頭挪開。」死者的姐姐瑪大對祂說：「主啊，他死了四天了，已經臭了。」
