but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name.

O righteous Father, the world knew thee not, but I knew thee; and these knew that thou didst send me;

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause came I unto this hour.Father, glorify thy name. There came therefore a voice out of heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.The multitude therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it had thundered: others said, An angel hath spoken to him.Jesus answered and said, This voice hath not come for my sake, but for your sakes.

Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

say ye of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.But if I do them, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.

Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
