because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

No weapon forged to be used against you will succeed; you will refute everyone who tries to accuse you. This is what the LORD will do for his servants– I will vindicate them,” says the LORD.

He said this to fulfill the word he had spoken,“ I have not lost a single one of those whom you gave me.”

just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.

For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Now this is the promise that he himself made to us: eternal life.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

I do not say that he should ask about that.All unrighteousness is sin, but there is sin not resulting in death.We know that everyone fathered by God does not sin, but God protects the one he has fathered, and the evil one cannot touch him.We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life.

who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.When I was with them I kept them safe and watched over them in your name that you have given me. Not one of them was lost except the one destined for destruction, so that the scripture could be fulfilled.

for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.When Christ( who is your life) appears, then you too will be revealed in glory with him.

Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died( and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?As it is written,“ For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“ Simon, Simon, pay attention! Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat,but I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. When you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

But the LORD continually shows loyal love to his faithful followers, and is faithful to their descendants,to those who keep his covenant, who are careful to obey his commands.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies,

Israel will be delivered once and for all by the LORD; you will never again be ashamed or humiliated.

Surely he loves the people; all your holy ones are in your power. And they sit at your feet, each receiving your words.

But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

In a far-off land the LORD will manifest himself to them. He will say to them,‘ I have loved you with an everlasting love. That is why I have continued to be faithful to you.

Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity.

From Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are called, wrapped in the love of God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ.

“ People will no longer need to teach their neighbors and relatives to know me. For all of them, from the least important to the most important, will know me,” says the LORD.“ For I will forgive their sin and will no longer call to mind the wrong they have done.”

Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life– the food which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has put his seal of approval on him.”

But here is why I was treated with mercy: so that in me as the worst, Christ Jesus could demonstrate his utmost patience, as an example for those who are going to believe in him for eternal life.

For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!

through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.

They continued to stone Stephen while he prayed,“ Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But the righteous man holds to his way, and the one with clean hands grows stronger.

Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, because I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.

For the LORD promotes justice, and never abandons his faithful followers. They are permanently secure, but the children of evil men are wiped out.

He watches over his holy ones, but the wicked are made speechless in the darkness, for it is not by one’s own strength that one prevails.

For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Into your hand I entrust my life; you will rescue me, O LORD, the faithful God.

I will make a lasting covenant with them that I will never stop doing good to them. I will fill their hearts and minds with respect for me so that they will never again turn away from me.

But the path of the righteous is like the bright morning light, growing brighter and brighter until full day.

Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath.

In a little while the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.

Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion; it cannot be upended and will endure forever.As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, now and forevermore.

Simon Peter answered him,“ Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said,“ Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And after he said this he breathed his last.

I tell you the solemn truth, the one who believes has eternal life.

The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect.

Pay attention and come to me! Listen, so you can live! Then I will make an unconditional covenantal promise to you, just like the reliable covenantal promises I made to David.

You study the scriptures thoroughly because you think in them you possess eternal life, and it is these same scriptures that testify about me,but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.
