For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Jesus said to him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Therefore He says:“ Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

Then Jesus said to them,“ A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.”

A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

“ I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.

When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.”

“ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.

And so it is written,“ The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

Say to those who are fearful-hearted,“ Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

O God, You have cast us off; You have broken us down; You have been displeased; Oh, restore us again!You have made the earth tremble; You have broken it; Heal its breaches, for it is shaking.You have shown Your people hard things; You have made us drink the wine of confusion.

Those who trust in their wealth And boast in the multitude of their riches,
