他們強留他說：“天晚了，太陽下山了，請與我們同住吧！”他就進去與他們同住。

你們所有勞苦擔重擔的人哪，到我這裡來吧！我必使你們得安息。我心裡柔和謙卑，你們應當負我的軛，向我學習，你們就必得著心靈的安息；我的軛是容易負的，我的擔子是輕省的。”

愛我的，我必愛他；殷切尋找我的，必定尋見。

拿但業說：“拿撒勒還能出甚麼好的嗎？”腓力說：“你來看！”

於是他們來到耶穌那裡，求他和他們同住，耶穌就在那裡住了兩天。

凡是父賜給我的人，必到我這裡來；到我這裡來的，我決不丟棄他，

看哪！我站在門外敲門；如果有人聽見我的聲音就開門的，我要進到他那裡去，我要跟他在一起，他也要跟我在一起吃飯。

保羅在自己所租的房子裡，住了整整兩年。凡來見他的人，他都接待，並且放膽地傳講神的國，教導有關主耶穌基督的事，沒有受到甚麼禁止。

猶大（不是加略人猶大）對耶穌說：“主啊，你為甚麼要親自向我們顯現，不向世人顯現呢？”耶穌回答：“人若愛我，就要遵守我的話，我父必定愛他，並且我們要到他那裡去，跟他住在一起。
