I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Chosen One of God.”

I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”

I have seen it happen. I am a witness that this is God’s Chosen One.”

And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

During that time the devil came and said to him,“ If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.”

Then Nathanael exclaimed,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God— the King of Israel!”

And he will call out to me,‘ You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’I will make him my firstborn son, the mightiest king on earth.

The king proclaims the Lord’s decree:“ The Lord said to me,‘ You are my son. Today I have become your Father.

For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:“ You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.” God also said,“ I will be his Father, and he will be my Son.”And when he brought his supreme Son into the world, God said,“ Let all of God’s angels worship him.”

“ For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.“ There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Thyatira. This is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes are like flames of fire, whose feet are like polished bronze:

There is no record of his father or mother or any of his ancestors— no beginning or end to his life. He remains a priest forever, resembling the Son of God.

Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son.All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about his Son.And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.

But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to him,“ I demand in the name of the living God— tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”

For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between“ Yes” and“ No.” He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s ultimate“ Yes,” he always does what he says.

“ Look at you now!” they yelled at him.“ You said you were going to destroy the Temple and rebuild it in three days. Well then, if you are the Son of God, save yourself and come down from the cross!”

Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

And a voice from heaven said,“ You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.”

The angel replied,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.

and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said,“ You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.”

But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,“ This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to him.”

This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God. It began

“ Yes, Lord,” she told him.“ I have always believed you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who has come into the world from God.”

why do you call it blasphemy when I say,‘ I am the Son of God’? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world.

The Jewish leaders replied,“ By our law he ought to die because he called himself the Son of God.”

But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.

Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

The Roman officer and the other soldiers at the crucifixion were terrified by the earthquake and all that had happened. They said,“ This man truly was the Son of God!”

so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.“ And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice— the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life giving power to his Son.And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.

The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands.And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.”

He trusted God, so let God rescue him now if he wants him! For he said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”

And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.

and said,“ If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say,‘ He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’”

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

And a voice from heaven said,“ This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”

They began screaming at him,“ Why are you interfering with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torture us before God’s appointed time?”

“ My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”

“ My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

The Father and I are one.”
