Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?”

So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for“ the just shall live by faith.”Yet the law is not of faith, but“ the man who does them shall live by them.”Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us( for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward,but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

Because finding fault with them, He says:“ Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:“ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come— in the volume of the book it is written of Me— to do Your will, O God.’”Previously saying,“ Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them”( which are offered according to the law),then He said,“ Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you— Moses, in whom you trust.

Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.And they sang a new song, saying:“ You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”

And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.

And Moses called all Israel, and said to them:“ Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your hearing today, that you may learn them and be careful to observe them.

“ Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people,And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began,That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us,To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear,In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.“ And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways,To give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins,Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers,and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written:“ For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name.”And again he says:“ Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”And again:“ Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!”And again, Isaiah says:“ There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”

“ This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us,

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,and crying out with a loud voice, saying,“ Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,saying:“ Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”Then one of the elders answered, saying to me,“ Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”And I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” So he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy,As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed forever.”

We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.”

And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.For I have said,“ Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.”

You will give truth to Jacob And mercy to Abraham, Which You have sworn to our fathers From days of old.

And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise,God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus:‘ I will give you the sure mercies of David.’Therefore He also says in another Psalm:‘ You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.’“ For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;but He whom God raised up saw no corruption.Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.

Moses commanded a law for us, A heritage of the congregation of Jacob.

And God spoke all these words, saying:“ I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.“ You shall have no other gods before Me.“ You shall not make for yourself a carved image— any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.“ You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.“ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.Six days you shall labor and do all your work,but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.“ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.“ You shall not murder.“ You shall not commit adultery.“ You shall not steal.“ You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.“ You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Now this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel.
