凡接待他的，就是信他名的人，他就赐他们权柄作神的儿女。

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

Some people did accept him and did believe in his name. He gave them the right to become children of God.

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name,

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name,

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (niv)

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (niv)

Therefore,“ Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”And,“ I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” (niv)

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. (niv)

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, (niv)

“ Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ they will be called‘ children of the living God.’ (niv)

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. (niv)

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (niv)

“ I myself said,“‘ How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.’ I thought you would call me‘ Father’ and not turn away from following me. (niv)

and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one. (niv)

And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. (niv)

By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see. (niv)

Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. (niv)
