“ Beware of your friends; do not trust anyone in your clan. For every one of them is a deceiver, and every friend a slanderer.

Be on guard against your friends. Do not trust the members of your own family. Every one of them cheats. Every friend tells lies.

Let everyone beware of his neighbor, and put no trust in any brother, for every brother is a deceiver, and every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.

“ Beware of your neighbor! Don’t even trust your brother! For brother takes advantage of brother, and friend slanders friend.

Everyone has to be on guard against his friend. Don’t trust any brother, for every brother will certainly deceive, and every friend spread slander.

Everyone must be on his guard around his friends. He must not even trust any of his relatives. For every one of them will find some way to cheat him. And all of his friends will tell lies about him.

不可信靠邻舍，也不可信任朋友，要守住你的嘴唇，不可向躺在你怀中的妻子透露。儿子藐视父亲，女儿抗拒母亲，媳妇与婆婆作对；人的仇敌就是自己的家人。

他们都是十分悖逆的人，到处搬弄是非。他们是铜是铁，他们都是败坏的。

他们彼此说谎，用谄媚的嘴唇说话，口是心非。愿耶和华剪除一切说谄媚话的嘴唇，和说夸大话的舌头。

憎恶人的用话语掩饰自己，心里却存着诡诈。他的话语虽然动听，你不可信他，因为他心里有七样可厌恶的事。

你不可在你的族人中，到处搬弄是非，也不可危害你的邻舍（“危害你的邻舍”直译是“站在你邻舍的血上”）；我是耶和华。

隐藏怨恨的，嘴里必出谎言；散播谣言的，是愚昧人。

那人说：“你的名字不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列，因为你与神与人较力，都得了胜。”

因为连你的兄弟、你的父家，都以诡诈待你，连他们也在你后面高声喊叫。虽然他们对你说好话，你也不可信他们。”

以撒说：“你弟弟已经前来，用诡计把你的祝福夺去了。”以扫说：“他名叫雅各不是很对吗？因为他欺骗了我两次。从前他夺去我的长子名分，现在他又夺去我的祝福。”以扫又说：“你再没有祝福留给我吗？”

他不以舌头诋毁人，不恶待朋友，也不毁谤他的邻居。

作假见证陷害邻舍的人，就像大锤、快刀和利箭。

“你们不要以为我来了，是要给地上带来和平；我并没有带来和平，却带来刀剑，因为我来了是要叫人分裂：人与父亲作对，女儿与母亲作对，媳妇与婆婆作对，

你们要小心，因为有人要把你们送交公议会，并要在会堂里鞭打你们；

谁也不要在这事上越轨，占弟兄的便宜，因为这一类的事，主必报应。这是我们从前告诉过你们，又严严警戒过你们的。

你们也会被父母、弟兄、亲戚、朋友出卖，他们又要害死你们一些人。

所以要除去一切恶毒、一切诡诈、虚伪、嫉妒和一切毁谤的话，像初生婴孩爱慕那纯净的灵奶，好叫你们靠它长大，进入救恩；

说谎的假证人，和在弟兄中散布纷争的人。

耶和华恨恶的事有六样，连他心里厌恶的，共有七样，

城中也有毁灭人的事，欺压和诡诈不离城里的街道。原来不是仇敌辱骂我，如果是仇敌，我还可以忍受；也不是恨我的人向我狂妄自大，如果是恨我的人，我还可以躲避他。

在你里面有好谗谤的人，他们要流人的血；在你的山上吃祭肉；又在你中间行淫乱的事。

弟兄要出卖弟兄，父亲要出卖儿女，甚至把他们置于死地；儿女要悖逆父母，害死他们。
