Go up to Gilead and obtain balm, Virgin daughter of Egypt! You have used many remedies in vain; There is no healing for you.

Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; Wail over her! Bring balm for her pain; Perhaps she may be healed.

And a woman who had suffered a chronic flow of blood for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone,

Then their father Israel said to them,“ If it must be so, then do this: take some of the best products of the land in your bags, and carry down to the man as a gift, a little balsam and a little honey, labdanum resin and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.

And Jesus answered and said to them,“ It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.I have not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.”

And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples,“ Why is your Teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?”But when Jesus heard this, He said,“ It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.

Where will you be stricken again, As you continue in your rebellion? The entire head is sick And the entire heart is faint.From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing healthy in it, Only bruises, slashes, and raw wounds; Not pressed out nor bandaged, Nor softened with oil.
