then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.

If you obey me, I will let you live in this place. It is the land I gave your people of long ago. It was promised to them for ever and ever.

说：‘你们各人当回转离开恶道和恶行，就可居住耶和华从古时所赐给你们和你们祖先之地，直到永远。

只要以色列人谨守遵行我藉摩西吩咐他们的一切律法、律例、典章，我就不再使他们的脚挪移，离开我所赐给他们列祖之土地。”

我何时论到一邦或一国说，要拔出、拆毁、毁坏；我所说的那一邦若回转离开他们的恶，我就改变心意，不将我想要施行的灾祸降与他们。

对他们说：‘你们这犹大君王、犹大众人和耶路撒冷所有的居民，凡从这些城门进入的，都当听耶和华的话。耶和华如此说：你们要谨慎，不可在安息日挑什么担子进入耶路撒冷的城门，也不可在安息日从家中挑担子出去。无论何工都不可做，只要以安息日为圣日，正如我所吩咐你们祖先的。’他们却不听从，也不侧耳而听，竟硬着颈项不听，不肯领受训诲。“你们若留意听从我，在安息日不挑什么担子进入这城的各门，只以安息日为圣日，在那日不做任何工作，这是耶和华说的，就必有坐大卫宝座的君王和领袖，与犹大人，并耶路撒冷的居民，或坐车，或骑马，进入这城的各门，而且这城必存到永远。也必有人从犹大城镇和耶路撒冷四围的各处，从便雅悯地、谢非拉、山区，并尼革夫而来，都带燔祭和祭物，素祭和乳香，并感谢祭，到耶和华的殿去。你们若不听从我，不以安息日为圣日，仍在安息日挑担子进入耶路撒冷的各城门，我必在城门中点火；这火必烧毁耶路撒冷的宫殿，不会熄灭。”
