其邑之邪惡洶洶、若泉水之洶湧、強暴酷虐、聞於其中、殘賊傷害之事、常於我前、

As a well pours out its water, so she pours out her wickedness. Violence and destruction resound in her; her sickness and wounds are ever before me.

Wells keep giving fresh water. And Jerusalem keeps on sinning. Its people are always fighting and causing trouble. When I look at them, I see nothing but sickness and wounds.

As a well keeps its water fresh, so she keeps fresh her evil; violence and destruction are heard within her; sickness and wounds are ever before me.

She spouts evil like a fountain. Her streets echo with the sounds of violence and destruction. I always see her sickness and sores.

As a well casteth forth its waters, so she casteth forth her wickedness: violence and destruction is heard in her; before me continually is sickness and wounds.

當作鏈索、蓋流血之罪盈於斯土、殘暴充乎其邑、

殘暴興起、成為罰惡之杖、彼之羣眾貨財、蕩然無存、無人為之哀哭、

我每言時、則發聲呼曰、強暴毀滅、緣耶和華之言、終日受恥辱、被譏誚、

惟彼惡人、若洶湧之海、不能恬靜、厥水擁出泥穢、

祝與詛均出一口、我兄弟乎、此非所宜也、源泉豈自一穴而出甘苦乎、我兄弟乎、無花果樹能結橄欖、葡萄樹能結無花果乎、水之鹹者、亦不能出淡者矣、○

我曰、雅各之首領、以色列家之有司歟、爾其聽之、公義非爾所當知乎、惟爾惡善好惡、剝人之膚、剔肉於骨、食我民之肉、剝其膚、折其骨、切之成塊、若為釜而備、若鼎中之肉、

虔敬者亡於斯土、正直者泯於人間、皆伏伺以流血、各張網羅、以獵昆弟、厥手惟惡是營、而亟行之、牧伯徇情、士師貪賄、大人言其中心之惡欲、共同組織之、

曰、主耶和華云、斯邑之中、流人之血、作諸偶像、自染污衊、其日邇矣、爾流人血、自取罪戾、爾作偶像、自染污衊、爾之日伊邇、爾之年殆盡、故我使爾為列國所侮辱、為萬邦所姍笑、爾名劣多亂者乎、遐邇之人、必譏笑爾、以色列牧伯、各奮其力、流血於爾中、爾中有人輕視父母、虐遇賓旅、欺凌孤寡、藐我聖物、犯我安息、爾中有毀謗者、流人之血、有人食於山、行淫亂、烝父繼室、辱因天癸而污之婦、有行可憎於鄰妻、有穢亂子婦、有玷辱異母之姊妹、受賄以流人血、貸金而取利息、行暴於鄰、得財無厭、而忘乎我、主耶和華言之矣、

謹守乃心、是為生命之源、

雅各家之首領、以色列家之有司歟、爾其聽之、爾曹惡公義、枉正直、以血建錫安、以惡建耶路撒冷、首領為賄而行鞫、祭司為利而訓誨、先知為金而占卜、猶恃耶和華曰、耶和華非在我中乎、災禍必不臨我、以爾之故、錫安必被耕、有若田疇、耶路撒冷為墟、聖室之山、猶林中之崇邱、

其中有血、流於光磐之上、不傾於地、為土所掩、

在牀謀惡營邪、迨至黎明、以手有力而行之者、其人禍哉、彼貪田畝而奪之、貪第宅而取之、且虐待其人與家、而據其業、

邇來我民興起若敵、有人安然而行、不好戰鬥、彼乃奪其外服、祇留裏衣、爾逐我民婦、離其安宅、永奪我榮於其幼稚、爾起而往、此非爾安息之所、污穢必敗壞之、其敗壞甚矣、

主歟、我在邑中、見有強暴紛爭、尚其施行翦滅、變亂其舌兮、彼在城上、晝夜遶行、中有罪孽邪慝兮、奸惡在於其中、暴虐詭譎、不離其衢兮、
