當告列邦、使耶路撒冷人知勁旅來自遠方、欲攻猶大諸邑。耶路撒冷人背我耶和華、故敵圍之、若守園之丁、環囿而居。

耶和華遂使迦勒底軍、亞蘭軍、摩押軍、亞捫軍、滅猶大、應耶和華命厥僕諸先知之言、

亞述王乎、爾之牧伯顯宦、俱偃而卧、爾之庶民、散於岡巒、不得復聚、

殘賊眾多、毀我園囿、蹂躪我業、使我良田、變為曠野。
