Do not go out to the fields or walk on the roads, for the enemy has a sword, and there is terror on every side.

他们的帐棚和羊群都要夺去，将幔子和一切器皿，并骆驼为自己掠去。人向他们喊着说：四围都有惊吓。”

我若出往田间，就见有被刀杀的；我若进入城内，就见有因饥荒患病的；连先知带祭司在国中往来，也是毫无知识。’”

我听见了许多人的谗谤，四围都是惊吓；他们一同商议攻击我的时候，就图谋要害我的性命。

四面的惊吓要使他害怕，并且追赶他的脚跟。

我们为何静坐不动呢？我们当聚集，进入坚固城，在那里静默不言；因为耶和华我们的神使我们静默不言，又将苦胆水给我们喝，都因我们得罪了耶和华。

“你们当传扬在犹大，宣告在耶路撒冷说：‘你们当在国中吹角，高声呼叫说：你们当聚集！我们好进入坚固城！’

次日，巴施户珥将耶利米开枷释放。于是耶利米对他说：“耶和华不是叫你的名为巴施户珥，乃是叫你玛歌珥米撒毕，因耶和华如此说：‘我必使你自觉惊吓，你也必使众朋友惊吓；他们必倒在仇敌的刀下，你也必亲眼看见；我必将犹大人全交在巴比伦王的手中，他要将他们掳到巴比伦去，也要用刀将他们杀戮。

在亚拿之子珊迦的时候，又在雅亿的日子，大道无人行走，都是绕道而行。以色列中的官长停职，直到我底波拉兴起，等我兴起作以色列的母。

我说：“哀哉！主耶和华啊，你真是大大地欺哄这百姓和耶路撒冷，说：‘你们必得平安。’其实刀剑害及性命了。”

那时，出入的人不得平安，列国的居民都遭大乱；

因为日子将到，你的仇敌必筑起土垒，周围环绕你，四面困住你，

若不听从，反倒悖逆，必被刀剑吞灭。”这是耶和华亲口说的。
