So in the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. They encamped outside the city and built siege works all around it.

Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon. He marched out against Jerusalem. All his armies went with him. It was in the ninth year of the rule of Zedekiah. It was on the tenth day of the tenth month. The armies set up camp outside the city. They set up ladders and built ramps and towers all around it.

And in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came with all his army against Jerusalem, and laid siege to it. And they built siegeworks all around it.

So on January 15, during the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon led his entire army against Jerusalem. They surrounded the city and built siege ramps against its walls.

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came against Jerusalem with his whole army and set up camp outside it. They built siege ramps all around it. He arrived on the tenth day of the tenth month in the ninth year that Zedekiah ruled over Judah.

牧者與其羣羊必至、張幕於其四周、各於其地牧之、爾其備戰、我儕其起、乘午以上、禍哉、日已西斜、夕影長矣、起哉、夤夜而上、毀其宮室、萬軍之耶和華云、伐木築壘、以攻耶路撒冷、其中充斥苛虐、乃宜罰之邑也、

爾上帝耶和華所賜爾之全地、其中諸邑、城垣高固、爾所恃也、敵必困爾於中、迨其傾圮、被圍之時、受敵窘迫、至食子女之肉、爾上帝耶和華所賜者、爾中荏弱嬌嫩之人、必怒視其兄弟、及懷中之妻室、遺留之子女、甚至彼於敵圍爾邑、窘迫之際、食其子女之肉、不肯分給親屬、無所遺餘故也、爾中荏弱嬌嫩之婦、因其嫋娜、以足踐地、猶且不屑、必怒視其懷中之夫、與其子女、暨膝間之嬰孩、及凡所生、緣敵圍邑窘迫、而無所得、則私食之、

蓋日將至、爾敵必築壘環爾、四週困爾、

右手得取耶路撒冷之兆、使設鎚以擊之、厥口孔張、大聲號呼、可行殺戮、發鎚攻門、築壘建臺、

惟爾人子、其取瓦置於前、繪耶路撒冷邑於上、環而攻之、建臺、築壘、列營、四周設鎚以衝之、又取鐵鐺、置為鐵垣、在爾與邑間、面攻而圍之、此為以色列家之兆、○爾當左側而臥、負以色列家之罪、爾左臥之日幾何、負其罪亦若是、蓋我定其負罪之年、為爾作為日數、三百九十日、我使爾如其數、負以色列家之罪、其數既盈、爾當右側以臥、負猶大家之罪、歷四十日、找為爾定一日抵一年、爾必面耶路撒冷、袒臂而圍之、向之預言、
