耶和华如此说：“要写明这人算为无子，是平生不得亨通的；因为他后裔中再无一人得亨通，能坐在大卫的宝座上治理犹大。”

自己走开约有一箭之远，相对而坐，说：“我不忍见孩子死”，就相对而坐，放声大哭。

所以主耶和华如此说：你们杀在城中的人就是肉，这城就是锅；你们却要从其中被带出去。你们怕刀剑，我必使刀剑临到你们。这是主耶和华说的。我必从这城中带出你们去，交在外邦人的手中，且要在你们中间施行审判。你们必倒在刀下；我必在以色列的境界审判你们，你们就知道我是耶和华。这城必不作你们的锅，你们也不作其中的肉。我必在以色列的境界审判你们，

护卫长拿住大祭司西莱雅、副祭司西番亚，和三个把门的，又从城中拿住一个管理兵丁的官，并在城里所遇常见王面的五个人和检点国民军长的书记，以及城里遇见的国民六十个人。护卫长尼布撒拉旦将这些人带到在利比拉的巴比伦王那里。巴比伦王就把他们击杀在哈马地的利比拉。这样，犹大人被掳去离开本地。
