When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

To him that rideth upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.

Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

At thy rebuke they fled; At the voice of thy thunder they hasted away

And Jehovah turned an exceeding strong west wind, which took up the locusts, and drove them into the Red Sea; there remained not one locust in all the border of Egypt.

The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted.

He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens; And by his power he guided the south wind.

And it came to pass, when the sun arose, that God prepared a sultry east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and requested for himself that he might die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

Hast thou entered the treasuries of the snow, Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

Are ye not as the children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith Jehovah. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.And the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?

The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: The God of glory thundereth, Even Jehovah upon many waters.The voice of Jehovah is powerful; The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars; Yea, Jehovah breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild- ox.The voice of Jehovah cleaveth the flames of fire.The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, And strippeth the forests bare: And in his temple everything saith, Glory.Jehovah sat as King at the Flood; Yea, Jehovah sitteth as King for ever.

And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and Jehovah brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all the night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
