其中的雇勇好像圈裏的肥牛犢，他們轉身退後，一齊逃跑，站立不住；因為他們遭難的日子、追討的時候已經臨到。

野牛、牛犢，和公牛要一同下來。他們的地喝醉了血；他們的塵土因脂油肥潤。

主要笑他，因見他受罰的日子將要來到。

有許多公牛圍繞我，巴珊大力的公牛四面困住我。

躲避恐懼的必墜入陷坑；從陷坑上來的必被網羅纏住；因我必使追討之年臨到摩押。這是耶和華說的。

第七位天使把碗倒在空中，就有大聲音從殿中的寶座上出來，說：「成了！」又有閃電、聲音、雷轟、大地震，自從地上有人以來，沒有這樣大、這樣厲害的地震。那大城裂為三段，列國的城也都倒塌了；神也想起巴比倫大城來，要把那盛自己烈怒的酒杯遞給他。

「人子啊，主耶和華如此說：你要對各類的飛鳥和田野的走獸說：你們聚集來吧，要從四方聚到我為你們獻祭之地，就是在以色列山上獻大祭之地，好叫你們吃肉、喝血。你們必吃勇士的肉，喝地上首領的血，就如吃公綿羊、羊羔、公山羊、公牛，都是巴珊的肥畜。你們吃我為你們所獻的祭，必吃飽了脂油，喝醉了血。你們必在我席上飽吃馬匹和坐車的人，並勇士和一切的戰士。這是主耶和華說的。」

列國都必服事他和他的兒孫，直到他本國遭報的日期來到。那時，多國和大君王要使他作他們的奴僕。

聽見我歎息的有人；安慰我的卻無人！我的仇敵都聽見我所遭的患難；因你做這事，他們都喜樂。你必使你報告的日子來到，他們就像我一樣。

「主耶和華如此說：有一災，獨有一災；看哪，臨近了！結局來了，結局來了，向你興起。看哪，來到了！境內的居民哪，所定的災臨到你，時候到了，日子近了，乃是鬨嚷並非在山上歡呼的日子。

主－萬軍之耶和華說：你這狂傲的啊，我與你反對，因為我追討你的日子已經來到。

我又看見一位天使站在日頭中，向天空所飛的鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴神的大筵席，

搶奪我產業的啊，你們因歡喜快樂，且像踹穀撒歡的母牛犢，又像發嘶聲的壯馬。

因怕她的痛苦，就遠遠地站着說：哀哉！哀哉！巴比倫大城，堅固的城啊，一時之間你的刑罰就來到了。
