我責爾子亦徒然、彼不受教、爾刃殺爾諸先知若猛獅殘傷、

主目遍鑒天下、凡誠心向主者、主力助之、爾於此事、所行愚昧、此後爾必有戰事、

爾則指之曰、斯民不聽其天主之言、不受訓誨、不言真實、不言真實原文作真實無有絕於其口○

我諭斯民曰、爾當敬畏我、承受教誨、則在我降諸罰之際、爾之居所尚不致絕、則在我降諸罰之際爾之居所尚不致絕或作如此爾之居宅不致於循我所欲降之罰而毀滅然於凡所為、惟惡是務、惟惡是務或作仍殷勤自敗自壞

斯民仍不歸向懲之者、不尋求萬有之主、

惟以色列族、必不聽爾、蓋不肯聽我、以色列全族面無羞恥、其心剛愎、彼面堅、我亦使爾面堅、彼額堅、我亦使爾額堅、我使爾額堅如金剛石、較火石猶堅、彼忤逆之族、勿懼其眾、勿畏其威、勿畏其威或作勿於其前驚惶○

禍哉此邑、悖逆污穢、暴虐是行、彼不聽命、不受教、不倚賴主、不就近其天主、

主在聖殿中、主之寶座在天、主目臨視、主之眼鑒察世人、善人、主必試驗、惡人與樂行兇暴者、主必憎惡、主將網羅、烈火、硫磺、熱風、降於惡人之身、此乃惡人當得之報、因主公義、喜悅公義、必面向正直之人、必面向正直之人或作正直之人必瞻仰主之面

惟彼不從、背逆頑梗、塞耳不聽、剛愎厥心、同於金剛石、不聽律法、不聽萬有之主、以其神藉古先知所諭之之言、或作剛愎其心同於金剛石不聽律法不聽萬有之主以其神藉古先知諭彼惟彼不聽其言故萬有之主震怒特甚、

惡人無廉恥、正直者謹慎所行、

竟不領命、不傾耳以聽、乃強厥項、行惡甚於其列祖、

我知爾乃頑梗、鐵項銅額、

爾以杵擣麥於臼、可以去皮、若擣愚人於其間、不能去其愚、

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、我所言之諸災、必降於此邑、及屬之之諸邑、因民強項、不聽我言、

彼困迫亞哈斯王之時、亞哈斯王愈干犯主、或作急難之際亞哈斯王愈干犯主

爾屢增悖逆、尚有何處可擊、首皆已痛、心悉已憊、自足至頂、體無完膚、惟傷、惟痍、惟惡瘡、或作自足至頂無一完處周身損破青腫兼有新傷未去其腐、未裹以布、未敷以油、

生我身之父、懲我而我敬之、況賦畀我神之父、豈不更當服之以致得永生乎、

凡行此者、我儕知天主必循真理審判之、

必使爾曰、人雖撻我、我不痛、人雖傷我、我不覺、我何時醒、仍復求酒、

爾之邪淫、即爾之污穢、我欲淨爾污穢、爾不願得潔、故不復得潔、或作爾之污穢即邪淫我欲潔爾爾不願得潔故不復得潔爾之污穢待我降災於爾、以雪我忿、待我降災於爾以雪我忿或作待我洩盡我之烈怒於爾

故主以烈怒傾洩其上、使遇爭戰兇暴之事、火焚四周、火焚四周或作四周烈怒炎炎如火而猶不知、燬及其身、仍不以為念、

主目眷顧有知識者、使詭詐詭詐或作悖逆者之言、歸於無有、

謀略有大智、行事有大能、聖目鑒察世人之舉動、視人之舉動及其行為之結果、而加以報施、

衷藏誠實、為主所喜愛、求主使我心懷智慧、
