先知不過是一陣風，道也不在他們裏面；這災禍必臨到他們身上。」

先知的话必成为风；道也不在他们里面。这灾必临到他们身上。

先知的话不过是一阵风，不是来自上帝，他们预言的灾祸必降临到自己身上。’”

先知不过是一阵风，主的道也不在他们里面；他们所说的必临到他们身上。”

先知為風、道不在於其中、彼之所言、必及己身、

先知有言、災必及民、民謂其言虛誕若風、未嘗奉命於上。

先知所言、非由神感、必顯為空虛若風、彼所遭遇者若此、

The prophets are but wind and the word is not in them; so let what they say be done to them.”

The prophets are nothing but wind. Their message doesn’t come from the Lord. So let what they say will happen be done to them.”

The prophets will become wind; the word is not in them. Thus shall it be done to them!’”

God’s prophets are all windbags who don’t really speak for him. Let their predictions of disaster fall on themselves!’”

The prophets become only wind, for the LORD’s word is not in them. This will in fact happen to them.

所以耶和華如此說：『論到託我名說預言的那些先知，我並未差遣他們；他們說這地不會有刀劍、饑荒，其實那些先知自己必被刀劍、饑荒滅絕。

「這些話你要說到幾時？你口中的言語如狂風要到幾時呢？

我就說：「唉！主耶和華，看哪，那些先知常對他們說：『你們必不見刀劍，也不遭饑荒；耶和華要在這地方賞賜你們真正的平安。』」

他們說：「來吧！讓我們設計謀害耶利米；因為我們有祭司講律法，有智慧人設謀略，有先知說預言，都未曾斷絕。來吧！讓我們用舌頭攻擊他，不要理他一切的話。」

絕望人的講論既然如風，你們還計劃批駁言語嗎？

我每逢講話的時候，就哀嘆，我喊叫：「有暴力和毀滅！」因為耶和華的話終日成了我的凌辱和譏刺。我若說：「我不再提耶和華，也不再奉他的名講論」，我心裏便覺得似乎有燒着的火悶在我骨中，我忍受不住，不能自禁。我聽見許多的毀謗，四圍都是驚嚇；連我知己朋友都看着我跌倒：「告他吧，我們要告他！或者他被引誘，我們就能勝他，在他身上報仇。」然而，耶和華與我同在，好像可怕的勇士。因此，迫害我的都絆跌，不能得勝；他們大大蒙羞，由於行事沒有智慧，必永遠受那不能忘懷的羞辱。

二年之內，我要將巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒從這地擄掠到巴比倫的器皿，就是耶和華殿中的一切器皿，都帶回此地。

降罰的日子近了，報應的時候已經來到。以色列必知道，先知愚昧，受靈感動的人狂妄，皆因你多多作惡，大懷怨恨。
