论异象谷的默示：有什么事使你这满城的人都上房顶呢？

在大户人家，不但有金器银器，也有木器瓦器；有作为贵重的，有作为卑贱的。人若自洁，脱离卑贱的事，就必作贵重的器皿，成为圣洁，合乎主用，预备行各样的善事。

他必用铁杖辖管他们，将他们如同窑户的瓦器打得粉碎，像我从我父领受的权柄一样。

以色列被吞吃；现今在列国中，好像人不喜悦的器皿。

窑匠难道没有权柄从一团泥里拿一块做成贵重的器皿，又拿一块做成卑贱的器皿吗？倘若神要显明他的忿怒，彰显他的权能，就多多忍耐宽容那可怒、预备遭毁灭的器皿，

要被打碎，好像把窑匠的瓦器打碎，毫不顾惜，甚至碎块中找不到一片可用以从炉内取火，从池中舀水。”

他们在街市上都腰束麻布，在房顶上和宽阔处俱各哀号，眼泪汪汪。
