But days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will send men who pour from pitchers, and they will pour her out; they will empty her pitchers and smash her jars.

所以，看哪，我要破開摩押邊界的城鎮，就是摩押人所誇耀的城鎮，伯‧耶施末、巴力‧免、基列亭，令東方人前來攻擊亞捫人。我必將亞捫交給他們為業，使亞捫人在列國中不再被記念。

耶和華復興雅各的榮華，像復興以色列的榮華；因為蹂躪者曾經蹂躪他們，毀壞了他們的葡萄枝。

「你要在跟你同去的人眼前打碎那瓶，

那行毀滅的要來到各城，並無一城倖免。山谷必敗落，平原必毀壞，正如耶和華所說的。

摩押自幼年以來常享安逸，如沉澱未被攪動的酒，沒有從這器皿倒在那器皿，也未曾被擄掠過。因此，它的原味尚存，香氣未變。

摩押的居民來到亞嫩渡口，如逃遁的飛鳥，被趕離鳥巢。

它被砸碎，好像把陶匠的瓦器摔碎，毫不顧惜，甚至在碎塊中找不到一片可用以從爐內取火，或從池中舀水。」

他們的貴族打發僮僕去打水；他們來到水池，找不到水，就拿着空器皿，蒙羞慚愧，抱頭而回。

看哪，我必召北方的眾族和我僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒前來攻擊這地和這地的居民，並四圍所有的國民。我要將他們盡行滅絕，以致他們令人驚駭、嗤笑，並且永久荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

「牧人哪，你們當哀號，呼喊；羊羣的領導者啊，你們要在灰中翻滾；因為你們被宰殺、被分散的日子已經來到。你們要仆倒，好像珍貴的器皿打碎一樣。

在摩押的各房頂上和街市上到處有人哀哭，因我打碎摩押，好像打碎無人喜愛的器皿。這是耶和華說的。

摩押變為廢墟，敵人上去佔它的城鎮。它精良的壯丁都下去遭殺戮；這是名為萬軍之耶和華的君王說的。

你必用鐵杖打破他們，把他們如同陶匠的瓦器摔碎。」
