主曰、我僕雅各歟、毋畏懼、我護祐爾、我逐爾於列邦、雖盡滅此邦、而不盡滅爾、雖不以爾為無罪、我仍責爾惟寛、

Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant, for I am with you,” declares the Lord.“ Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”

Fear not thou, O Jacob my servant, saith Jehovah; for I am with thee: for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee; but I will not make a full end of thee, but I will correct thee in measure, and will in no wise leave thee unpunished.

And you, My servant Jacob, do not be afraid— this is the Lord’s declaration— for I will be with you. I will bring destruction on all the nations where I have banished you, but I will not bring destruction on you. I will discipline you with justice, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

爾曹又遺忘勸爾如子之言曰、我子、主懲爾、勿藐視、主責爾、勿喪膽、蓋主懲其所愛者、撲其所納之子、爾若受懲、則是天主待爾如子、焉有父而不懲其子者乎、眾既受懲、爾若不受懲、則為私子、非嫡子也、生我身之父、懲我而我敬之、況賦畀我神之父、豈不更當服之以致得永生乎、生我身之父、暫時任意懲我、惟賦畀我神之父懲我、乃為我之益、使我成聖、可同於彼、

列國乎、任爾諠譁、終必喪膽、喪膽或作傷殘下同遠方萬民當聽、爾雖整頓、終必喪膽、爾雖整頓、終必喪膽、任爾設謀、終必無成、任爾定命、終必不立、因天主護祐我儕、因天主護祐我儕原文作因天主與我儕偕○

凡我所愛者、我必責之懲之、故當奮勉悔改、

主天主又曰、此國獲罪、我目鑒察、必滅之於地上、雖然、我不盡滅雅各族、我必發命、簸散以色列族於列邦、若簸揚於篩、若簸揚於篩或作如以篩篩穀一粒之穀、不使隕落於地、

萬有之主保祐我儕、雅各之天主護庇我儕、細拉、

然被審時、乃受主譴責、以免與世同被定罪、

主如是云、我既以此大災降於斯民、厥後我亦必以所許之諸福降之、爾曹言斯地荒蕪、無人無畜、已付迦勒底人手、我曰、厥後人仍於斯地購田、在便雅憫地、耶路撒冷四周、猶大諸邑、山地諸邑、平原平原或作窪地諸邑、南方諸邑、人將以銀購田、書契約印之、使人為證、蓋我必使其被擄者、返歸故土、此乃主所言、

惟爾敵人、可登其城垣而毀之、惟勿盡毀、當除其枝條、蓋不屬主也、

毋畏葸、我必祐爾、勿膽怯、我乃爾之天主、必堅強爾、濟助爾、我必以施救之右手扶持爾、

我豈不命爾強爾心、壯爾志乎、勿驚惶、勿畏懼、爾無論何往、主爾之天主必祐爾、○

我必使爾在斯民間、若鞏固之銅墻、彼雖攻爾、必不勝爾、因我必祐護爾、以拯救爾、此乃主所言、

時鐵、泥、銅、銀、金、俱碎、若夏日穀場之糠秕、被風飄揚、無處可尋、擊像之石、變成大山、遍盈天下、

主又曰、當是時、雖如此、我仍不盡滅爾、

雅各被主譴責、豈如其敵被主譴責、雖遇殺戮、豈如其敵所遇之殺戮、

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、奉我遣率北方各族、來攻斯地與其居民、及四周之鄰國、必滅之殆盡、使其地永為荒涼、令人驚駭恥笑、此乃主所言、

我指己而誓、口出真言、決不反覆、萬膝必向我而屈、萬口必指我而誓、

斯民所言、爾不知乎、彼曰、昔主所選之二族、今已棄之、彼如是藐視我民、目中視之不復為邦國、主如是云、我所立晝夜之約、所定天地之例、若能爽能廢、則我亦遐棄雅各之苗裔與我僕大衛、不復使大衛之裔、治理亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之子孫、蓋我必使其被擄者旋歸、且施之以矜恤、

故雅各之愆尤、以此得蒙赦免、斯災所結之果、即除其罪惡、因其毀祭壇之石、使如已碎之灰石、而亞舍拉亞舍拉或作木偶與日像不復立焉、

童女將懷孕生子、人將稱其名以瑪內利、譯即天主偕我焉、

若彼之見棄、使世復和、則彼之見納何如、豈非由死復生乎、○所獻之新麵若聖、則全團亦聖、樹之根若聖、則其枝亦聖、若數枝見折、爾素為野油果樹、見接於其中、同賴油果樹之根、同得其汁、

惟主左右我、剛健我、致福音由我盡傳、俾異邦人皆聞之、且我得救、脫於獅口、
