先知曰、今日萬有之主耶和華降災於敵、雪其夙忿、使之被戮於鋒刃、飲血若醉、蓋萬有之主耶和華在於北方、百辣河濱、大行誅殛。

此日也、乃主萬有之天主復仇之日、復仇於敵、使刃食而得飽、飲血若醉、蓋主萬有之天主、在北方伯拉河濱、大行誅戮、

But that day belongs to the Lord, the Lord Almighty— a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood. For the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will offer sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.

But that day belongs to me. I am the Lord who rules over all. It is a day for me to pay back my enemies. My sword will eat until it is satisfied. It will drink until it is not thirsty for blood anymore. I am the Lord. I am the Lord who rules over all. I will offer a sacrifice. I will offer it in the land of the north by the Euphrates River.

That day is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, to avenge himself on his foes. The sword shall devour and be sated and drink its fill of their blood. For the Lord God of hosts holds a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

For this is the day of the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, a day of vengeance on his enemies. The sword will devour until it is satisfied, yes, until it is drunk with your blood! The Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will receive a sacrifice today in the north country beside the Euphrates River.

That day belongs to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, a day of vengeance to avenge himself against his adversaries. The sword will devour and be satisfied; it will drink its fill of their blood, because it will be a sacrifice to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, in the northern land by the Euphrates River.

太可怕了！耶和華的日子近了，那是全能者施行毀滅的日子。

我要使我的箭飽飲鮮血，被殺被擄之人的血；我的劍要吞噬人肉，敵人將領的肉。』

猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬執政第四年，埃及王法老尼哥的軍隊在幼發拉底河邊的迦基米施被巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒擊敗。論到埃及，耶和華說：

善跑者跑不掉，強壯者逃不了，他們仆倒在北面的幼發拉底河邊。

哀號吧！耶和華的日子近了，全能者施行毀滅的時候到了。

埃及王不再邁出國境，因為巴比倫王奪取了從埃及小河至幼發拉底河之間的埃及領土。

我又看見一位天使站在太陽裡，對空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喚：「來吧！一起來參加上帝的盛宴，一同享用君王、將軍、勇士、馬匹、騎士、自由人、奴隸和尊卑老少的肉吧！」我看見那怪獸、地上的眾王及其軍隊聚集起來，要與白馬騎士和祂的軍隊作戰。後來，怪獸被俘虜了，在怪獸面前行奇蹟的假先知也一同被擒了。這假先知曾用奇蹟欺騙那些蓋了獸印、敬拜獸像的人。他和怪獸一同被活活地扔進硫磺火湖裡。怪獸的殘兵紛紛被白馬騎士口中的利劍所殺，飛鳥飽餐了他們的肉。

「耶和華的大日子近了，近了，很快就到了。那將是痛苦的日子，勇士也必淒聲哀號。那是降烈怒的日子，是困苦艱難的日子，是摧殘毀壞的日子，是黑暗幽冥的日子，是陰霾密佈的日子，

要在主耶和華面前肅靜，因為耶和華的日子近了。耶和華已準備好祭物，潔淨了祂邀請的人。耶和華說：「在我獻祭的日子，我必懲罰首領和王子，以及所有穿外族服裝的人。

你們要在錫安吹響號角，在我的聖山上發出警訊，地上的居民都要戰抖，因為耶和華的日子將要來臨，已經近了。

我心中定了報仇的日子，我救贖我子民之年已經來臨。

宣告我們上帝耶和華的恩年和祂報仇的日子，安慰一切悲哀的人；

「人子啊，主耶和華說，『你要召喚各類飛鳥和野獸，讓牠們聚集起來，從四面八方來赴我為牠們預備的祭宴，就是以色列山嶺上的大祭宴，在那裡吃肉飲血。牠們將吃到勇士的肉，喝到君王的血，好像吃公綿羊、羊羔、公山羊、公牛這些巴珊的肥畜。牠們要在我為牠們設的祭宴中任意吃肉飲血，直到吃飽喝醉為止。牠們在我的宴席上要飽餐戰馬、車夫、勇士和軍人的肉。這是主耶和華說的。「『我要在各國中彰顯我的榮耀，使他們看見我如何用大能審判歌革。

因為那是報應的日子，要應驗聖經的全部記載。

耶和華的刀劍在天上飽飲了血後，必降下來懲罰以東——祂決意要毀滅的民族。祂的刀沾滿了血和脂肪，如同羊羔、公山羊的血和公綿羊腎臟上的脂肪。因為耶和華要在波斯拉獻祭，在以東大行殺戮。他們像野牛、牛犢和公牛一樣倒下。他們的土地被血浸透，土壤被脂肪覆蓋。因為這是耶和華報應的日子，是祂為錫安報仇之年。

「離開巴比倫，各自逃命吧！不要讓她的罪惡連累你們，以致你們滅亡，這是耶和華報應她的時候，耶和華要懲罰她。

你們要從四面向她吶喊，她必投降，她的堡壘將傾倒，城牆將坍塌，因為耶和華要報應她。你們要向她復仇，她怎樣對待別人，你們也要怎樣對待她。
