‘如果你们留在这地方，我必扶持你们，决不毁灭你们；我必栽培你们，决不铲除你们。因为我为降在你们身上的灾祸而难过。

‘你们若仍住在这地，我就建立你们，必不拆毁，栽植你们，并不拔出，因我为降与你们的灾祸后悔了。

你們若死心塌地地住在這地，我就建立你們，必不傾覆；栽植你們，必不拔除；因為對降禍與你們、我改變了心意了。

如爾仍居斯土、我必建爾而不毀之、植爾而不拔之、昔我降災於爾、今回厥意焉、

昔我降災、今不復行、如爾仍居於斯土、我必建造爾、栽植爾、不毀爾邦國、不拔爾根株。

如爾仍居於斯地、我必建造爾、不復拆毀、栽植爾、不復拔除、我降災於爾、我已悔之、

‘ If you stay in this land, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you, for I have relented concerning the disaster I have inflicted on you.

‘ Stay in this land. Then I will build you up. I will not tear you down. I will plant you. I will not pull you up by the roots. I have decided to stop bringing trouble on you.

If you will remain in this land, then I will build you up and not pull you down; I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I relent of the disaster that I did to you.

‘ Stay here in this land. If you do, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you. For I am sorry about all the punishment I have had to bring upon you.

‘ If you will indeed stay in this land, then I will rebuild and not demolish you, and I will plant and not uproot you, because I relent concerning the disaster that I have brought on you.

‘ If you will indeed stay in this land, then I will build you up and not tear you down, and I will plant you and not uproot you; for I will relent of the disaster that I have inflicted on you.

‘ If you will still remain in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up. For I relent concerning the disaster that I have brought upon you.

If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.

‘ If you will just stay in this land, I will build you up. I will not tear you down. I will firmly plant you. I will not uproot you. For I am filled with sorrow because of the disaster that I have brought on you.

‘ If you will still live in this land, then I will build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I grieve over the distress that I have brought on you.

这样，你们四周其余的民族便知道我耶和华已重建毁坏之处，重新耕种荒废之地。我耶和华言出必行。’

我曾决意铲除、拆毁、推翻、剿灭他们，降灾给他们，将来我必塑造、栽培他们。这是耶和华说的。

我要眷顾他们，带他们回到这里。我要使他们兴起，不再毁灭他们；我要栽培他们，不再铲除他们；

“耶和华见自己的子民力量衰竭，奴隶和自由人所剩无几，必为他们主持公道，怜悯祂的仆人。

我要使被掳的犹大人和以色列人回到故土，重建家园。

于是，耶和华心生怜悯，说：“我也不降这灾了。”

上帝看见他们改邪归正，不再作恶，就怜悯他们，没有像所说的那样毁灭他们。

他向耶和华祷告说：“耶和华啊，我在家乡的时候岂不早就说过你会这样做吗？我知道你是一位有恩典、有怜悯的上帝，不轻易发怒，充满慈爱，不忍心降灾，所以我才急速逃往他施。

于是，耶和华心生怜悯，说：“我不降这灾了。”

以法莲啊，我怎能舍弃你？以色列啊，我怎能弃绝你？我怎能使你的下场如押玛？我怎能对待你如对待洗扁？我的心意改变，我满怀怜爱。

你们要撕心般地悔改，而不是撕裂衣服。归向你们的上帝耶和华吧，因为祂有恩典和怜悯，不轻易发怒，有无限的慈爱，不忍心降灾祸。

因为上帝必拯救锡安，重建犹大的城邑。祂的子民要住在那里，拥有那片土地。

要信靠耶和华，要行善，要在这片土地上安然度日。

当天使准备伸手毁灭耶路撒冷的时候，耶和华心生怜悯，就对灭命天使说：“够了，住手吧！”当时，耶和华的天使正站在耶布斯人亚劳拿的麦场上。

耶和华听了摩西的话，就心生怜悯，不把所说的灾祸降在百姓身上。

“但犹大王希西迦和犹大众人并没有处死他。希西迦敬畏耶和华，求祂开恩，耶和华才施怜悯，没有把原本预备的灾祸降给他们。若处死这人，我们会大祸临头。”

当我宣布要铲除、推翻、毁灭哪一邦或哪一国的时候，如果他们悔过自新，我必施怜悯，取消我原本要降给他们的灾祸。当我宣布要建造、栽培哪一邦或哪一国的时候，如果他们做我视为恶的事，不听从我的话，我必改变心意，取消我原本要赐给他们的福气。

因为耶和华必重建锡安，带着荣耀显现。

“‘此后，我要回来重建已倾覆的大卫王朝，将它从废墟中重建、恢复，

祂没有忘记与他们立的约，因祂伟大无比的爱而怜悯他们。

耶和华见他们因敌人的压迫和苦待而哀号，就怜悯他们，使士师陆续兴起，并与每位士师同在。士师在世之日，耶和华从仇敌手中拯救他们。

耶和华向以撒显现说：“不要下埃及去，要住在我指示你住的地方。你寄居在这里，我必与你同在，赐福给你，因为我必把这些土地赐给你和你的后代，坚立我对你父亲亚伯拉罕的誓约。
