I answered,‘ Here I am.’He said to me,‘ Who are you?’ I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’He said to me,‘ Please stand beside me, and kill me; for anguish has taken hold of me, because my life lingers in me.’So I stood beside him and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after he had fallen. Like silver dross on an earthen vessel are the lips of a fervent one with an evil heart.A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors evil in his heart.When his speech is charming, don’t believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart.His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.
