我聞有聲哀號、若妊婦初產、即郇女之聲、哭泣伸手、曰、殺我者至、禍必不遠、我喪厥膽。

我聞哀聲、如婦臨產、我聞哀哭之聲、如孕婦初產、即郇之聲、哭泣伸手、曰、禍哉我也、我被殘殺者所害、

I hear a cry as of a woman in labor, a groan as of one bearing her first child— the cry of Daughter Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands and saying,“ Alas! I am fainting; my life is given over to murderers.”

I hear a cry like the cry of a woman having a baby. I hear a groan like someone having her first child. It’s the cry of the people of Zion struggling to breathe. They reach out their hands and say,“ Help us! We’re fainting! Murderers are about to kill us!”

For I heard a cry as of a woman in labor, anguish as of one giving birth to her first child, the cry of the daughter of Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands,“ Woe is me! I am fainting before murderers.”

I hear a cry, like that of a woman in labor, the groans of a woman giving birth to her first child. It is beautiful Jerusalem gasping for breath and crying out,“ Help! I’m being murdered!”

I hear a cry like a woman in labor, a cry of anguish like one bearing her first child. The cry of Daughter Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands:“ Woe is me, for my life is weary because of the murderers!”

For I heard a voice cry as of a woman in labor, The anguish as of one giving birth to her first child. The voice of the daughter of Zion gasping for breath, Stretching out her hands, saying,“ Ah, woe to me, for I faint before murderers.”

“ For I have heard a voice as of a woman in labor, The anguish as of her who brings forth her first child, The voice of the daughter of Zion bewailing herself; She spreads her hands, saying,‘ Woe is me now, for my soul is weary Because of murderers!’

In fact, I hear a cry like that of a woman in labor, a cry of anguish like that of a woman giving birth to her first baby. It is the cry of Daughter Zion gasping for breath, reaching out for help, saying,“ I am done in! My life is ebbing away before these murderers!”

For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, the anguish as of her who gives birth to her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, who gasps for breath, who spreads her hands, saying,“ Woe is me now! For my soul faints before the murderers.”

你們舉手禱告，我必掩面不理。即使你們禱告再多，我也不會聽，因為你們雙手沾滿鮮血。

錫安伸手求助，卻無人理睬。耶和華已命四周鄰國與雅各為敵。耶路撒冷在他們當中成了污穢之物。

耶和華讓你結交的盟友來統治你，你還有什麼話可說？難怪你痛苦不堪，就像分娩的婦人。

驚恐萬狀，痛苦不堪如同分娩的婦人。他們必面面相覷，羞愧得面如火燒。

我要毀滅美麗嬌弱的錫安城。

他們要攻取城池，佔領堡壘。那時，摩押的勇士像臨盆的婦人一樣心驚膽戰。

因此，願他們喪身刀下，兒女餓死，妻子喪夫亡子，年長的被殺，年少的死於戰場！

「我厭惡自己的生命，我要傾訴我的哀怨，吐露心中的苦水。

當人們正在說一切平安穩妥的時候，災禍會像產痛臨到孕婦一樣突然臨到他們，令他們無法逃脫。

你們去問問，男人能分娩嗎？為什麼我看見男人們都雙手捂著肚子，好像分娩的婦人臉色鐵青呢？

我聽見祂對其餘的人說：「你們要跟隨他走遍全城，毫不留情地殺戮，將男女老幼全部殺盡，但你們不能傷害額上有記號的。你們要從聖所開始。」於是他們首先殺了殿前的眾長老。

「我已沉默多時，我克制不語，現在我要發出急促的呐喊，像分娩的婦人。

那時我說：「我有禍了！我要滅亡了！因為我口出不潔之言，又住在口出不潔之言的人群中，並且親眼看見了大君王——萬軍之耶和華。」

我有禍了！因我的創傷難癒。但我說：「這是疾病，我必須忍受。」

大馬士革喪失勇氣，轉身逃命。她像分娩的婦人一樣驚恐不安，充滿痛苦和憂愁。

為什麼我的痛楚無休無止？為什麼我的創傷無法醫治？難道你要像一條時斷時流的小溪讓我無法依靠嗎？

其實我傳福音並沒有什麼可誇的，因為這是我的任務，我不傳福音就有禍了！

「巴錄啊，以色列的上帝耶和華說，

我真悲慘！就像夏天的果子已被收盡，葡萄已被摘淨，找不到一串可吃的，尋不見我心中渴望的初熟無花果。

臨產的陣痛要臨到他，但他是毫無智慧的孩子，分娩之時卻不離開母腹。

「主耶和華說，『我要使許多人起來攻擊、搶掠她們，叫她們膽戰心驚。這些人要用石頭打死她們，用刀殺戮她們和她們的兒女，用火燒毀她們的房屋。

他們殘酷無情，毫無憐憫，手持弓箭長槍，騎馬奔來，聲勢如狂濤怒吼。錫安城啊，他們準備列陣攻擊你。」我們聽到這風聲，手腳發軟，痛苦萬分，如分娩的婦人。

看啊，敵人必像展翅飛來的鷹一樣攻擊波斯拉。到那日，以東的勇士必像臨盆的婦女一樣膽戰心驚。

利百加對以撒說：「我被這些赫人女子煩死了。如果雅各也像以掃一樣娶那些赫人女子為妻，我活著還有什麼意思呢？」

這使我充滿痛苦，我陷入劇痛中，如同分娩的婦人，我因聽見的話而驚慌，因看見的景象而害怕。

「要對錫安城說，『看啊，你的君王來了！祂謙卑地騎著驢，騎著一頭驢駒。』」

「耶和華啊，看看我是多麼痛苦！我的內臟攪動，我的心靈翻騰，因為我背叛了你。街上有屠殺，家中有死亡。

住在黎巴嫩、安居在香柏木宮殿中的人啊，當婦人分娩般的痛苦臨到你們的時候，你們將怎樣呻吟呢！」

我走到田間，眼前是具具被殺的屍體；我進入城裡，見饑荒肆虐，祭司和先知也流亡異鄉。』」

巴比倫王聞風喪膽，四肢發軟，像分娩的婦人一樣痛苦不堪。

我寄居在米設和基達的人當中有禍了！

「老人和小孩陳屍街頭，少男少女都喪身刀下。你在發怒的日子殺了他們，毫不留情。
