良田荒蕪、城邑傾圮、蓋耶和華涖臨、其怒殊烈。

見良田荒蕪、其諸城邑傾圮於主前、皆因主之烈怒、

I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

I looked. And the fruitful land had become a desert. All its towns were destroyed. The Lord had done all this because of his great anger.

I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a desert, and all its cities were laid in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

I looked, and the fertile fields had become a wilderness. The towns lay in ruins, crushed by the Lord’s fierce anger.

使肥沃之地变为荒芜的盐地，都因当地居民的邪恶。

因此，为你们的缘故，锡安要被耕种像一块田地，耶路撒冷要变为废墟，这殿的山必如丛林的高处。

我耳闻万军之耶和华说：“许多房屋必然荒废；宏伟华丽，无人居住。十亩的葡萄园只酿出一罢特的酒，一贺梅珥的谷种只结一伊法粮食。”

“那时，主必用大河外雇来的剃头刀，就是亚述王，剃去你的头发和脚毛，并要剃净你的胡须。“那时，每一个人要养活一头母牛犊和两只母羊；因为奶量充足，他就有乳酪可吃，国内剩余的人也都能吃乳酪与蜂蜜。“那时，凡种一千棵葡萄树、价值一千银子的地方，必长出荆棘和蒺藜。人到那里去，必带弓箭，因为遍地长满了荆棘和蒺藜。所有锄头刨过的山地，你因惧怕荆棘和蒺藜，不敢到那里去；只能作放牛之处，羊群践踏之地。”

遍地都被硫磺和盐所侵蚀，不能耕种，没有出产，连草都长不出来，好像耶和华在怒气和愤怒中所倾覆的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁一样，万国必说：‘耶和华为什么向此地这样做呢？为什么要大发烈怒呢？’人必说：‘这是因为这地的人离弃了耶和华—他们列祖的上帝领他们出埃及地的时候与他们所立的约，去事奉别神，敬拜他们所不认识的神明，这是耶和华未曾允许的。所以耶和华的怒气向这地发作，将这书上所写的一切诅咒都降在这地上。耶和华在怒气、愤怒、大恼恨中将他们从本地拔出来，扔到别的地上，像今日一样。’

“犹大悲哀，城门衰败；众人坐在地上哀恸，耶路撒冷的哀声上达。他们的贵族打发僮仆去打水；他们来到水池，找不到水，就拿着空器皿，蒙羞惭愧，抱头而回。因为无雨降在地上，土地就干裂，农夫为此蒙羞抱头。田野的母鹿因为无草也撇弃才生的小鹿。野驴站在光秃的高地喘气，好像野狗；它们的眼目因无草而失明。”

你，惟独你是可畏的！你的怒气一发，谁能在你面前站得住呢？

这地悲哀，一切田野的青草枯干要到几时呢？因其上居民的恶行，牲畜和飞鸟都灭绝了。因为他们说：“他看不见我们的结局。”
