Nebuzaradan was commander of the royal guard. Some people still remained in the city. But he took them away to Babylon as prisoners. He also took along those who had gone over to his side. And he took the rest of the people.

Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city, those who had deserted to him, and the people who remained.

惟民之貧窮、毫無所有者、侍衛長尼布撒拉但留於猶大地、當日以葡萄園與田畝予之、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒為耶利米命侍衛長尼布撒拉但曰、爾提之出獄、原文作爾取彼眷顧之、毫勿加害、惟視其所欲而施之焉、侍衛長尼布撒拉但、宦官長尼布沙斯班、博士長尼甲沙利薛、及巴比倫王諸侯伯、遣人提耶利米出獄院、託於沙番孫亞希甘子基大利、使攜於其家、於是耶利米居於民間、

我必散爾於異邦人中、使爾為兵刃所追、使爾土地荒蕪、使爾城邑變為荒墟、

尼布甲尼撒所擄之民、其數如左、尼布甲尼撒七年、擄猶大民三千二十三人、尼布甲尼撒十八年、自耶路撒冷擄八百三十二人、尼布甲尼撒二十三年、侍衛長尼布撒拉旦擄猶大民七百四十五人、通計四千六百人、○

爾之子孫、由爾所生者、為人所擄、在巴比倫王宮為宦官、
