Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him, and the rest of the people.

Nebuzaradan was commander of the royal guard. Some people still remained in the city. But he took them away to Babylon as prisoners. He also took along those who had gone over to his side. And he took the rest of the people.

Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city, those who had deserted to him, and the people who remained.

Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, took as exiles to Babylon the rest of the people who remained in the city, those who had defected to him, and everyone else who remained.

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初十日，在巴比倫王面前侍立的護衛長尼布撒拉旦進入耶路撒冷，用火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，又焚燒耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大戶家的房屋。跟從護衛長迦勒底的全軍就拆毀耶路撒冷四圍的城牆。那時護衛長尼布撒拉旦將民中最窮的和城裏所剩下的百姓，並已經投降巴比倫王的人，以及大眾所剩下的人，都擄去了。但護衛長尼布撒拉旦留下些民中最窮的，使他們修理葡萄園，耕種田地。

因耶和華如此說：『我必使你自覺驚嚇，你也必使眾朋友驚嚇；他們必倒在仇敵的刀下，你也必親眼看見；我必將猶大人全交在巴比倫王的手中，他要將他們擄到巴比倫去，也要用刀將他們殺戮。並且我要將這城中的一切貨財和勞碌得來的，並一切珍寶，以及猶大君王所有的寶物，都交在他們仇敵的手中；仇敵要當作掠物帶到巴比倫去。你這巴施戶珥和一切住在你家中的人都必被擄去；你和你的眾朋友，就是你向他們說假預言的，都必到巴比倫去，要死在那裏，葬在那裏。』」

護衛長尼布撒拉旦卻將民中毫無所有的窮人留在猶大地，當時給他們葡萄園和田地。巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒提到耶利米，囑咐護衛長尼布撒拉旦說：「你領他去，好好地看待他，切不可害他；他對你怎麼說，你就向他怎麼行。」護衛長尼布撒拉旦和尼布沙斯班－拉撒力、尼甲‧沙利薛－拉墨，並巴比倫王的一切官長，打發人去，將耶利米從護衛兵院中提出來，交與沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利，帶回家去。於是耶利米住在民中。

我要把你們散在列邦中；我也要拔刀追趕你們。你們的地要成為荒場；你們的城邑要變為荒涼。

尼布甲尼撒所擄的民數記在下面：在他第七年擄去猶大人三千零二十三名；尼布甲尼撒十八年從耶路撒冷擄去八百三十二人；尼布甲尼撒二十三年，護衛長尼布撒拉旦擄去猶大人七百四十五名；共有四千六百人。

並且從你本身所生的眾子，其中必有被擄去在巴比倫王宮裏當太監的。」

耶和華必使你們分散在萬民中；在他所領你們到的萬國裏，你們剩下的人數稀少。
