耶稣回答：“有一个人从耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在强盗手中。他们剥去他的衣裳，把他打个半死，丢下他走了。偶然有一个祭司从那条路下来，看见他就从另一边过去了。又有一个利未人来到那里，看见他，也照样从另一边过去了。可是，有一个撒玛利亚人路过那里，看见他就动了慈心，上前用油和酒倒在他的伤处，包裹好了，扶他骑上自己的牲口，带他到旅店里去，照应他。第二天，他拿出两个银币来，交给店主，说：‘请你照应他，额外的费用，我回来时会还你。’你想，这三个人哪一个是落在强盗手中那人的邻舍呢？”

“你去告诉古实人以伯‧米勒说，万军之耶和华—以色列的神如此说：看哪，我说降祸不降福的话必临到这城，到那时必在你面前实现。到那日我必拯救你，你必不致交在你所怕的人手中。这是耶和华说的。我定要搭救你，你必不致倒在刀下，却要保全自己的性命，因你倚靠我。这是耶和华说的。”

他把约雅斤和他的母亲、后妃、官员，以及这地的贵族，都从耶路撒冷掳到巴比伦去了，

古实人岂能改变皮肤呢？豹岂能改变斑点呢？若能，你们这善于行恶的便能行善了。

腓利就起身去了。不料，有一个埃塞俄比亚人，是个有大权的太监，在埃塞俄比亚女王甘大基的手下总管银库，他上耶路撒冷去礼拜。回程中，他坐在车上，正念着以赛亚先知的书，圣灵对腓利说：“你去！靠近那车走。”腓利就跑到太监那里，听见他正在念以赛亚先知的书，就说：“你明白你所念的吗？”他说：“没有人指教我，怎能明白呢？”于是他请腓利上车，与他同坐。他所念的那段经文是这样：“他像羊被牵去宰杀，又像羔羊在剪毛的人手下无声，他也是这样不开口。他卑微的时候，得不到公义的审判，谁能述说他的身世？因为他的生命从地上被夺去。”太监回答腓利说：“请问，先知说这话是指谁，是指自己，还是指别人呢？”腓利就开口，从这段经文开始，对他传讲耶稣的福音。二人正沿路往前走，到了有水的地方，太监说：“看哪！这里有水，有什么能阻止我受洗呢？”

我又告诉你们，从东从西，将有许多人来，在天国里与亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席；本国的子民反而被赶到外边黑暗里去，在那里要哀哭切齿了。”

犹大的领袖、耶路撒冷的领袖、官员、祭司，和从牛犊切块中经过的这地的众百姓，

从东从西，从南从北，将有人来，在神的国里坐席。看吧，在后的，将要在前；在前的，将要在后。”

我出到城门，在广场安排座位，年轻人见我而回避，老年人起身站立。王子都停止说话，用手捂口；领袖静默无声，舌头贴住上膛。耳朵听见了，称我有福；眼睛看见了，就称赞我。因我拯救了哀求的困苦人和无人帮助的孤儿。将要灭亡的为我祝福，我使寡妇心中欢呼。我穿上公义，它遮蔽我；我的公平如外袍和冠冕。我作瞎子的眼，瘸子的脚。我作贫穷人的父；我不认识之人的案件，我也去查明。我打破不义之人的大牙，从他牙齿中夺走他所抢的。
