You go, therefore, and read from the scroll which you have written at my instruction, the words of the Lord, in the hearing of the people in the LORD’s house on the day of fasting. And you shall also read them in the hearing of all Judah who come from their cities.

所以你要去趁禁食的日子，在耶和華殿中將耶和華的話，就是你從我口中所寫在書卷上的話，念給百姓和一切從猶大城邑出來的人聽。

所以你要去，趁禁食的日子、在永恆主殿中、將永恆主的話、就是你由我口傳所寫在書卷上的、念給眾民聽；你也要念給所有從他們城市中來的猶大人聽；

爾往、以我口所傳、爾所書於卷之耶和華言、在耶和華室、於禁食之期誦之、俾民聞之、亦使自猶大諸邑而來之人聞之、

禁食之日、猶大國人自眾邑、詣耶和華殿、爾當以我所傳耶和華之命、書之於卷者、誦於民前。

禁食之日、民詣主之殿、爾往以爾循我口傳所書於卷之主言、讀於耶路撒冷民前、亦讀於自各邑詣主殿之猶大人前、

So you go to the house of the Lord on a day of fasting and read to the people from the scroll the words of the Lord that you wrote as I dictated. Read them to all the people of Judah who come in from their towns.

So you go there. Go on a day when the people are fasting. Read to them from the scroll. Read the words of the Lord you wrote down as I gave them to you. Read them to all the people of Judah who come in from their towns.

so you are to go, and on a day of fasting in the hearing of all the people in the Lord’s house you shall read the words of the Lord from the scroll that you have written at my dictation. You shall read them also in the hearing of all the men of Judah who come out of their cities.

So you go to the Temple on the next day of fasting, and read the messages from the Lord that I have had you write on this scroll. Read them so the people who are there from all over Judah will hear them.

so you must go and read from the scroll— which you wrote at my dictation— the words of the LORD in the hearing of the people at the temple of the LORD on a day of fasting. Read his words in the hearing of all the Judeans who are coming from their cities.

So you go and read from the scroll, which you have written at my dictation, the words of the Lord to the people at the Lord’s house on a day of fasting. And you shall also read them to all the people of Judah who come from their cities.

therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of Jehovah in the ears of the people in Jehovah’s house upon the fast- day; and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

so you must go and read from the scroll— which you wrote at my dictation— the words of the Lord in the hearing of the people at the temple of the Lord on a day of fasting. You must also read them in the hearing of all the Judeans who are coming from their cities.

Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD’S house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

So you go there the next time all the people of Judah come in from their towns to fast in the LORD’s temple. Read out loud where all of them can hear you what I told you the LORD said, which you wrote in the scroll.

Therefore you go, and read from the scroll which you have written from my mouth, Yahweh’s words, in the ears of the people in Yahweh’s house on the fast day. Also you shall read them in the ears of all Judah who come out of their cities.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading from the book the words of the Lord in the LORD’s house.Now it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the Lord to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem.

And He said to me:“ Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.For they are impudent and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD.’As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse— for they are a rebellious house— yet they will know that a prophet has been among them.“ And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious.

Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them,

Then Jeremiah came from Tophet, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the Lord’s house and said to all the people,

“ This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who dwells among you.For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord.It is a sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever.

and say,‘ Hear the word of the Lord, O king of Judah, you who sit on the throne of David, you and your servants and your people who enter these gates!

“ Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. Return now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.”’”

“ Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.For any person who is not afflicted in soul on that same day shall be cut off from his people.And any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.It shall be to you a sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath.”

“ Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say,‘ Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!’”

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word.
