Then the officials said to Baruch,“ Go, hide yourself, you and Jeremiah, and do not let anyone know where you are.”

Then the officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah, go and hide. Don’t let anyone know where you are.”

Then the officials spoke to Baruch. They said,“ You and Jeremiah must go and hide. Don’t let anyone know where you are.”

Then the officials said to Baruch,“ Go and hide, you and Jeremiah, and let no one know where you are.”

“ You and Jeremiah should both hide,” the officials told Baruch.“ Don’t tell anyone where you are!”

The officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah must hide and tell no one where you are.”

Then the princes said to Baruch,“ Go and hide, you and Jeremiah; and let no one know where you are.”

Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye are.

The officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah must hide yourselves and tell no one where you are.”

Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be.

Then the officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah must go and hide. You must not let anyone know where you are.”

Then the princes said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah go hide. Don’t let anyone know where you are.”

“ Go away from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan.

And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king’s son, Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet, but the Lord hid them.

Indeed, there was also a man who used to prophesy in the name of the Lord, Uriah the son of Shemaiah from Kiriath jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land words similar to all those of Jeremiah.When King Jehoiakim and all his warriors and all the officials heard his words, then the king sought to put him to death; but Uriah heard about it, and he was afraid, so he fled and went to Egypt.Then King Jehoiakim sent men to Egypt: Elnathan the son of Achbor and certain men with him, to Egypt.And they brought Uriah from Egypt and led him to King Jehoiakim, who killed him with a sword and threw his dead body into the burial place of the common people.But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that he was not handed over to the people to put him to death.

for when Jezebel killed the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave, and provided them with bread and water.)

As surely as the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom to which my master has not sent word to search for you; and whenever they say,‘ He is not here,’ he makes the kingdom or nation swear that they could not find you.

Then Amaziah said to Amos,“ Go, you seer, flee to the land of Judah; and eat bread there and do your prophesying there!

At that very time some Pharisees approached, saying to Him,“ Go away and leave this place, because Herod wants to kill You.”

When the righteous triumph, there is great glory, But when the wicked rise, people hide themselves.

So the anger of the Lord burned against Amaziah, and He sent him a prophet who said to him,“ Why have you sought the gods of the people who have not saved their own people from your hand?”

But the son of Paul’s sister heard about their ambush, and he came and entered the barracks and told Paul.Paul called one of the centurions to himself and said,“ Take this young man to the commander, for he has something to report to him.”So he took him and led him to the commander and* said,“ Paul the prisoner called me over to him and asked me to bring this young man to you because he has something to tell you.”The commander took him by the hand, and stepping aside, began to inquire of him privately,“ What is it that you have to report to me?”And he said,“ The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down tomorrow to the Council, as though they were going to inquire somewhat more thoroughly about him.So do not listen to them, for more than forty of them are in hiding to ambush him, and these men have put themselves under an oath not to eat or drink until they kill him; and now they are ready and waiting for assurance from you.”Then the commander let the young man go, instructing him,“ Tell no one that you have notified me of these things.”

They followed his advice; and after calling the apostles in, they flogged them and ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and then released them.
