I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the room of the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah the man of God. It was next to the room of the officials, which was over that of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.

I brought them into the Lord’ s house. I took them into the room of the sons of Hanan. He was the son of Igdaliah. He was also a man of God. His room was next to the room of the officials. Their room was above the room of Maaseiah. He was the son of Shallum. He also was one of those who guarded the temple doors.

I brought them to the house of the Lord into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was near the chamber of the officials, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, keeper of the threshold.

I took them to the Temple, and we went into the room assigned to the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah, a man of God. This room was located next to the one used by the Temple officials, directly above the room of Maaseiah son of Shallum, the Temple gatekeeper.

and I brought them into the temple of the LORD to a chamber occupied by the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah, a man of God, who had a chamber near the officials’ chamber, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.

and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door.

and I brought them into the house of Jehovah, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.

and I brought them into the temple of the Lord to a chamber occupied by the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah, a man of God, who had a chamber near the officials’ chamber, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.

And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which[ was] by the chamber of the princes, which[ was] above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

I took them to the LORD’s temple. I took them into the room where the disciples of the prophet Hanan son of Igdaliah stayed. That room was next to the one where the temple officers stayed and above the room where Maaseiah son of Shallum, one of the doorkeepers of the temple, stayed.

and I brought them into Yahweh’s house, into the room of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the room of the princes, which was above the room of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.

Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death.

Instead, Jehoiada the priest took a chest and drilled a hole in its lid and put it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of the Lord; and the priests who guarded the threshold put in it all the money that was brought into the house of the Lord.

Now according to the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their duties of praise and ministering before the priests according to the daily rule, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for this is what David, the man of God, had commanded.

Then the captain of the bodyguards took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three doorkeepers.

Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he went up to him, and behold, he was sitting on the top of the hill. And he said to him,“ You man of God, the king says,‘ Come down.’ ”

Then the sons of Judah approached Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know the word which the Lord spoke to Moses the man of God on account of you and me in Kadesh barnea.

These were the gatekeepers for the camp of the sons of Levi.Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives of his father’s house, the Korahites, were in charge of the work of the service, doorkeepers of the tent; and their fathers had been in charge of the camp of the Lord, keepers of the entrance.

So the king again sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he said to him,“ You man of God, this is what the king says:‘ Come down quickly!’ ”But Elijah replied to them,“ If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty.” Then the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.So the king again sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty men. When the third captain of fifty went up, he came and bowed down on his knees before Elijah, and begged him and said to him,“ You man of God, please let my life and the lives of these fifty servants of yours be precious in your sight.

But the word of God came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

So the woman arose and acted in accordance with the word of the man of God: she went with her household and resided in the land of the Philistines for seven years.Then at the end of seven years, the woman returned from the land of the Philistines; and she went to appeal to the king for her house and for her field.Now the king was speaking with Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, saying,“ Please report to me all the great things that Elisha has done.”And as he was reporting to the king how he had restored to life the one who was dead, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and for her field. And Gehazi said,“ My lord the king, this is the woman and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.”When the king asked the woman, she told everything to him. So the king appointed an officer for her, saying,“ Restore all that was hers and all the produce of the field from the day that she left the land even until now.”Then Elisha came to Damascus. Now Ben hadad, the king of Aram, was sick, and it was told to him, saying,“ The man of God has come here.”And the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift in your hand and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord by him, saying,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’ ”

The royal officer on whose hand the king was leaning responded to the man of God and said,“ Even if the Lord were to make windows in heaven, could this thing happen?” Then he said,“ Behold, you are going to see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of it.”

Then Baruch read to all the people from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper courtyard, at the entry of the New Gate of the Lord’s house.Now when Micaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard all the words of the Lord from the book,he went down to the king’s house, into the scribe’s chamber. And behold, all the officials were sitting there— Elishama the scribe, Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, Elnathan the son of Achbor, Gemariah the son of Shaphan, Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the other officials.

And the king of Israel sent scouts to the place about which the man of God had told him; so he warned him, so that he was on his guard there, more than once or twice.

Then a man of God came to Eli and said to him,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Did I not indeed reveal Myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh’s house?

Now when the prophet who had brought him back from the way heard about it, he said,“ It is the man of God, who disobeyed the command of the Lord; therefore the Lord has given him to the lion, which has torn him and killed him, in accordance with the word of the Lord which He spoke to him.”

When the officials of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king’s house to the house of the Lord and sat at the entrance of the New Gate of the Lord’s house.

Now behold, a man of God came from Judah to Bethel by the word of the Lord, while Jeroboam was standing at the altar to burn incense.

But he said to him,“ Behold now, there is a man of God in this city, and the man is held in honor; everything that he says definitely comes true. Now let’s go there, perhaps he can tell us about our journey on which we have set out.”Then Saul said to his servant,“ But look, if we go, what shall we bring the man? For the bread is gone from our sacks and there is no gift to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”The servant answered Saul again and said,“ Look, I have in my hand a fourth of a shekel of silver; I will give it to the man of God and he will tell us our way.”

So she said to Elijah,“ Why is my business any of yours, you man of God? Yet you have come to me to bring my wrongdoing to remembrance, and to put my son to death!”

So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, in accordance with the word of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than live in the tents of wickedness.

Then the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three officers of the temple.

They spent the night around the house of God, because the watch was committed to them; and they were in charge of opening it morning by morning.

so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.

by putting their threshold by My threshold, and their door post beside My door post, with only the wall between Me and them. And they have defiled My holy name by their abominations which they have committed. So I have consumed them in My anger.

Now when Josiah turned, he saw the graves that were there on the mountain, and he sent men and took the bones from the graves, and burned them on the altar and defiled it in accordance with the word of the Lord which the man of God proclaimed, the one who proclaimed these things.Then he said,“ What is this gravestone there that I see?” And the men of the city told him,“ It is the grave of the man of God who came from Judah and proclaimed these things which you have done against the altar of Bethel.”

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”

Then a man of God approached and spoke to the king of Israel, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Since the Arameans have said,“ The Lord is a god of mountains, but He is not a god of valleys,” therefore I will hand over to you all this great multitude, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’ ”

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, thought,“ Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Aramean, by not accepting from his hand what he brought. As the Lord lives, I will run after him and take something from him.”

Now the king appointed the royal officer on whose hand he leaned to be in charge of the gate; but the people trampled on him at the gate, and he died, just as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him.

But a man of God came to him saying,“ O king, do not let the army of Israel come with you, for the Lord is not with Israel nor with any of the sons of Ephraim.But if you do go, do it, be strong for the battle; yet God will bring you down before the enemy, for God has the power to help and to bring down.”Amaziah said to the man of God,“ But what are we to do about the hundred talents which I have given to the troops of Israel?” And the man of God answered,“ The Lord has much more to give you than this.”

But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
