如爾昆弟希伯來人、見鬻於爾、事爾六年、既屆七年、當釋之自由、惟爾祖不從我言、不側耳以聽、

如購爾同族、希百來人為僕、事爾六年、既屆七年、例當釋之、然我有言、爾祖不傾耳以聽。

如爾同族希伯來人、被鬻於爾為奴、但事爾六年、屆第七年、爾當釋之離爾、任其自由、惟爾列祖不聽我、不傾耳以聽、

‘ Every seventh year each of you must free any fellow Hebrews who have sold themselves to you. After they have served you six years, you must let them go free.’ Your ancestors, however, did not listen to me or pay attention to me.

‘ Every seventh year you must set your people free. Each of you must set free all the Hebrews who have sold themselves to you. Let them serve you for six years. Then you must let them go free.’( Deuteronomy 15:12) But your people of long ago did not listen to me. They did not pay any attention to me.

‘ At the end of seven years each of you must set free the fellow Hebrew who has been sold to you and has served you six years; you must set him free from your service.’ But your fathers did not listen to me or incline their ears to me.

I told them that every Hebrew slave must be freed after serving six years. But your ancestors paid no attention to me.

‘ At the end of seven years, each of you must let his fellow Hebrew who sold himself to you go. He may serve you six years, but then you must let him go free from your service.’ But your ancestors did not obey me or pay any attention.

“ At the end of seven years each of you shall set free his Hebrew brother who has been sold to you and has served you for six years, and you shall send him out free from you.” But your forefathers did not obey Me nor incline their ear to Me.

“ At the end of seven years let every man set free his Hebrew brother, who has been sold to him; and when he has served you six years, you shall let him go free from you.” But your fathers did not obey Me nor incline their ear.

At the end of seven years ye shall let go every man his brother that is a Hebrew, that hath been sold unto thee, and hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

At the end of seven years, each of you must free his Hebrew brother who sold himself to you. He may serve you six years, but then you must send him out free from you. But your ancestors did not obey Me or pay any attention.

「你弟兄中，若有一個希伯來男人或希伯來女人賣給你，已服事你六年，到了第七年就要讓他自由離開你。

耶和華對撒母耳說：「你只管聽從百姓向你說的一切話，因為他們不是厭棄你，而是厭棄我，不要我作他們的王。自從我領他們出埃及的日子到如今，他們離棄我，事奉別神；正像他們從前所做的一切事，現在他們也照樣向你做了。

惟有以色列人，所羅門不使他們作奴僕，而是作他的戰士、臣僕、官長、軍官、戰車長、騎兵長。

耶和華藉眾先知、先見勸戒以色列和猶大說：「當離開你們的惡行，謹守我的誡命律例，遵行我吩咐你們祖先、藉我僕人眾先知所傳給你們的一切律法。」他們卻不聽從，竟硬着頸項，像他們祖先一樣，不信服耶和華－他們的神。

用銀子買貧寒人，以一雙鞋換貧窮人，把壞的穀物賣給人。」

如今你們又有意強逼猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢，你們豈不是也得罪了耶和華－你們的神嗎？

以色列人和猶大人從年輕時，就專做我眼中看為惡的事。以色列人盡以手所做的惹我發怒。這是耶和華說的。

（只是從來沒有像亞哈的，因他受耶洗別王后的唆使，出賣自己，行了耶和華眼中看為惡的事。

「六年你要耕種田地，收集地的出產。只是第七年你要讓地歇息，不耕不種，使你百姓中的貧窮人有吃的；他們吃剩的，野獸可以吃。你的葡萄園和橄欖園也要照樣辦理。

耶和華如此說：「我休了你們的母親，她的休書在哪裏呢？我將你們賣給了我哪一個債主呢？看哪，你們被賣是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被休，是因你們的過犯。

自從你們祖先出埃及地的那日，直到今日，我每日一再差遣我的僕人眾先知到你們那裏去。你們卻不聽我，不側耳而聽，竟硬着頸項行惡，比你們的祖先更甚。

他們卻悖逆我，不肯聽從我，不拋棄他們眼中所喜愛的可憎之物，離棄埃及的偶像。「我就說，在埃及地，我要把我的憤怒傾倒在他們身上，向他們發盡我的怒氣。

西底家王與耶路撒冷的眾百姓立約，要他們宣告自由，叫各人釋放自己的僕人和婢女，使希伯來的男人和女人得自由，誰也不可使他的猶大弟兄作奴僕。這事以後，耶和華的話臨到耶利米。

但你多年寬容他們，又以你的靈藉眾先知勸戒他們，他們仍不側耳而聽，所以你將他們交在列邦民族的手中。

人子啊，你要審問他們嗎？你要審問嗎？你當使他們知道他們祖先那些可憎的事；

他們卻嘲笑神的使者，藐視他的話，譏誚他的先知，以致耶和華向他的百姓大發烈怒，甚至無法可救。

我真苦啊！誰能救我脫離這必死的身體呢？

我們原知道律法是屬靈的，我卻是屬肉體的，是已經賣給罪了。因為我所做的，我自己不明白。我所願意的，我並不做；我所恨惡的，我反而去做。如果我所做的是我所不願意的，我得承認律法是善的。事實上，這不是我做的，而是住在我裏面的罪做的。

我所要的禁食，豈不是要你鬆開兇惡的繩，解開軛上的索，使被欺壓的得自由，折斷一切的軛嗎？

「你在百姓面前所要立的典章是這樣：「你若買希伯來人作奴僕，他服事你六年，第七年他可以自由，白白地離去。他若單身來就可以單身去；他若是有妻子的，他的妻子可以同他離去。若他主人給他娶了妻，妻子為他生了兒子或女兒，妻子和兒女要歸主人，他要獨自離去。

他們卻不聽從，也不側耳而聽，竟隨從自己頑梗的惡心去行。我就使這約中一切詛咒的話臨到他們身上；這約是我吩咐他們遵行的，他們卻不遵行。』」耶和華對我說：「在猶大人和耶路撒冷居民中有同謀背叛的事。他們轉去效法他們祖先的惡行，不肯聽我的話，竟隨從別神，事奉它們。以色列家和猶大家違背了我與他們列祖所立的約。

他們卻不留意；聳肩悖逆，耳朵發沉，不肯聽從。他們的心堅硬如金剛石，不聽律法和萬軍之耶和華藉着他的靈差遣從前先知所說的話。因此，萬軍之耶和華大發烈怒。

耶和華如此說：「以色列三番四次犯罪，為銀子賣了義人，為一雙鞋賣了窮人，我必不撤銷對它的懲罰。
