The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,

The LORD spoke to Jeremiah while King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was attacking Jerusalem and the towns around it with a large army. This army consisted of troops from his own army and from the kingdoms and peoples of the lands under his dominion.

The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, with all his army, all the kingdoms of the earth that were under his dominion, and all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and against all its cities, saying:

蓋我必召北方諸族、咸至斯土、置座於耶路撒冷邑門城垣、及猶大諸邑。

西底家叛。巴比倫王九年、十月十日、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率其軍旅、至耶路撒冷、四周建營築壘、以攻擊、困苦其邑、至於西底家王十一年、四月九日、邑民糧罄饑甚。迦勒底人環攻其城而陷之、武士由門旁夾道、近於王囿、夤夜而遁、士卒四散、王望坦途而往、迦勒底軍追襲其後、至耶利哥之坦途、

尼布甲尼撒王、頒詔天下、曰、願民人族姓、咸得平康、

我耶和華、以巨能大力、肇造寰宇、以及庶民百獸、以地錫人、惟我所欲。我今以列邦予我僕、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、亦使野獸供役、列國之人必服事之、爰及子孫、屆滅國之期而後已、厥後邦國眾多、列王顯赫、必使巴比倫王供其服役。

九年十月十日、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率師、至耶路撒冷、於其四周、建營築壘以攻擊、困苦其邑、至於西底家王十一年、四月九日、邑民糧罄饑甚。迦勒底人環攻其城、而陷之、武士出城、由門旁夾道、近於王囿、夤夜而遁、士卒四散、王望坦途而往、迦勒底軍追襲其後至耶利哥之坦途、執之、

猶大王西底家九年十月、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒帥師圍耶路撒冷、十一年四月九日取之。巴比倫王之牧伯、尼甲沙利泄、三甲尼破、宦官長撒西金、博士長尼甲沙哩設、又有王之牧伯數人、咸至坐於中門。

行惡於上帝耶和華前、先知耶利米雖諭以耶和華命、猶不痛自怨艾、尼布甲尼撒王使之指上帝而誓、永不離叛、王猶強項不馴、剛愎乃心、不歸以色列族之上帝耶和華、更背尼布甲尼撒王。眾祭司長與兆民、效尤異邦、多蹈罪愆、在耶路撒冷、耶和華之殿、業已肅清、復污衊之、其列祖之上帝耶和華、矜憫其民、視其殿為貴重、數遣使訓誨之、彼譏上帝之使、藐視其命、侮其先知、干耶和華震怒、不復援手、使迦勒底王至、在聖室中、戮諸壯士、凡丁男、處女、耆年、耄耋者、俱無所惜、見虜於敵。

斯樹即王、爾既長大、堅剛無比、高大及乎九宵、權能延乎四極、
