Zedekiah, the king of Judah, will not escape from the powerful hands of the armies of Babylon. He will certainly be handed over to the king of Babylon. Zedekiah will speak with him face to face. He will see him with his own eyes.

西底家王遣人攜之出、王在宮潛問之曰、耶和華有言乎、耶利米曰、有、又曰、爾必付於巴比倫王之手、

於是穴城、戰士由附近王囿兩垣間之門夜遁、迦勒底人環城、王由亞拉巴道而走、迦勒底軍追之、及於耶利哥之平原、王軍潰散、迦勒底軍執王、解至利比拉、巴比倫王所、而審鞫之、戮其諸子、使之目睹、抉其兩目、縶之以鏈、攜至巴比倫、○

揀其王子、與之立約、使之發誓、遷其境內強者、使國為卑、不復振興、但守盟約、猶可保存、惟彼叛巴比倫王、遣使至埃及、欲其給以馬匹軍旅、如是能亨通乎、行是事者、得免難乎、爽約能遠害乎、彼既藐其誓、爽其約、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼必於立之為王者之都、與之同沒於巴比倫、其敵築壘建營、欲滅邑眾、法老雖率軍旅羣眾、亦不能助其戰、蓋王子既握手立約、乃藐誓爽約、必不能免難、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼藐我誓、爽我約、我必以此罪歸於其首、必張我網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至巴比倫、在彼鞫其逆我之罪、其軍中之遁者、必隕於刃、遺民散於四方、爾則知乃我耶和華所言也、○

迦勒底軍追王、及於耶利哥之平原、王軍潰散、迦勒底人執王、解至哈馬之利比拉、巴比倫王所、而審鞫之、巴比倫王戮西底家諸子、使之目睹、又在利比拉、戮猶大諸牧伯、抉西底家目、繫之以鏈、攜至巴比倫、下之於獄、迄於死日、○

行惡重傷之以色列君乎、爾日屆矣、罰罪之期至矣、主耶和華曰、去其冕、脫其冠、諸事變易、卑者升之、高者降之、

其中之君、將乘昏夜、負荷而出、彼必穿垣、由此移物、亦必蒙面、蓋彼不得見斯土也、我必張網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至迦勒底地之巴比倫、彼雖死於其地、而不得見之、
