Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape the Babylonians but will certainly be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him with his own eyes.

Zedekiah, the king of Judah, will not escape from the powerful hands of the armies of Babylon. He will certainly be handed over to the king of Babylon. Zedekiah will speak with him face to face. He will see him with his own eyes.

Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye.

King Zedekiah will be captured by the Babylonians and taken to meet the king of Babylon face to face.

King Zedekiah of Judah will not escape from the Chaldeans; indeed, he will certainly be handed over to Babylon’s king. They will speak face to face and meet eye to eye.

你若不出去归降巴比伦王的首领，这城必交在迦勒底人手中。他们必用火焚烧，你也不得脱离他们的手。”

犹大王西底家和一切兵丁看见他们，就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门出城逃跑，往亚拉巴逃去。迦勒底的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，将他拿住，带到哈马地的利比拉、巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒那里；尼布甲尼撒就审判他。巴比伦王在利比拉、西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又杀了犹大的一切贵胄，并且剜西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，要带到巴比伦去。

西底家王打发人提出他来，在自己的宫内私下问他说：“从耶和华有什么话临到没有？”耶利米说：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王手中。”

城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门逃跑。迦勒底人正在四围攻城，王就向亚拉巴逃走。迦勒底的军队追赶王，在耶利哥的平原追上他；他的全军都离开他四散了。迦勒底人就拿住王，带他到在利比拉的巴比伦王那里审判他。在西底家眼前杀了他的众子，并且剜了西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，带到巴比伦去。

从以色列的宗室中取一人与他立约，使他发誓，并将国中有势力的人掳去，使国低微不能自强，惟因守盟约得以存立。他却背叛巴比伦王，打发使者往埃及去，要他们给他马匹和多民。他岂能亨通呢？行这样事的人岂能逃脱呢？他背约岂能逃脱呢？他轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在立他作王、巴比伦王的京都。敌人筑垒造台，与他打仗的时候，为要剪除多人，法老虽领大军队和大群众，还是不能帮助他。他轻看誓言，背弃盟约，已经投降，却又做这一切的事，他必不能逃脱。”所以主耶和华如此说：“我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看指我所起的誓，背弃指我所立的约，我必要使这罪归在他头上。我必将我的网撒在他身上，他必在我的网罗中缠住。我必带他到巴比伦，并要在那里因他干犯我的罪刑罚他。他的一切军队，凡逃跑的，都必倒在刀下；所剩下的，也必分散四方。你们就知道说这话的是我耶和华。”

迦勒底的军队追赶西底家王，在耶利哥的平原追上他。他的全军都离开他四散了。迦勒底人就拿住王，带他到在哈马地利比拉的巴比伦王那里；巴比伦王便审判他。巴比伦王在西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又在利比拉杀了犹大的一切首领，并且剜了西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，带到巴比伦去，将他囚在监里，直到他死的日子。

你这受死伤行恶的以色列王啊，罪孽的尽头到了，受报的日子已到。主耶和华如此说：当除掉冠，摘下冕，景况必不再像先前；要使卑者升为高，使高者降为卑。

他们中间的君王也必在天黑的时候将物件搭在肩头上带出去。他们要挖通了墙，从其中带出去。他必蒙住脸，眼看不见地。我必将我的网撒在他身上，他必在我的网罗中缠住。我必带他到迦勒底人之地的巴比伦；他虽死在那里，却看不见那地。
