He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.He will make a highway for the remnant of his people, the remnant coming from Assyria, just as he did for Israel long ago when they returned from Egypt.

When I have broken their chains of slavery and rescued them from those who enslaved them, then they will know that I am the Lord.They will no longer be prey for other nations, and wild animals will no longer devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will frighten them.

And the people of Benjamin will occupy the land of Gilead.The exiles of Israel will return to their land and occupy the Phoenician coast as far north as Zarephath. The captives from Jerusalem exiled in the north will return home and resettle the towns of the Negev.Those who have been rescued will go up to Mount Zion in Jerusalem to rule over the mountains of Edom. And the Lord himself will be king!”
