以色列族猶大家、爰及耶路撒冷居民、與厥王公、祭司先知、惟惡是作、攖予忿懥、

皆因以色列人與猶大人、所行干我震怒之惡事、彼之列王、侯伯、祭司、先知、猶大諸人、耶路撒冷居民皆然、

The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done— they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem.

The people of Israel and Judah have made me very angry. They have done many evil things. They, their kings and officials have sinned. So have their priests and prophets. And the people of Judah and Jerusalem have also sinned.

because of all the evil of the children of Israel and the children of Judah that they did to provoke me to anger— their kings and their officials, their priests and their prophets, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“ The sins of Israel and Judah— the sins of the people of Jerusalem, the kings, the officials, the priests, and the prophets— have stirred up my anger.

because of all the evil the Israelites and Judeans have done to anger me— they, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem.

耶和華啊，我們和我們的君王、官長、祖先因得罪了你，臉上就都蒙羞。

禍哉！犯罪的國民，擔着罪孽的百姓，行惡的族類，敗壞的兒女！他們離棄耶和華，藐視以色列的聖者，背向他，與他疏遠。你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，繼續受責打呢？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏；從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處是完好的，盡是創傷、瘀青，與流血的傷口，未曾擠淨，未曾包紮，也沒有用膏滋潤。

「賊被捉拿，怎樣羞愧，以色列家和他們的君王、官長、祭司、先知也都照樣羞愧。

你的官長悖逆，與盜賊為伍，全都喜愛賄賂，追求贓物；他們不為孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也呈不到他們面前。

從我們祖先的日子直到今日，我們的罪惡深重；因我們的罪孽，我們和君王、祭司都交在鄰國諸王的手中，被殺害，擄掠，搶奪，臉上蒙羞，正如今日的景況。

於是我說：雅各的領袖，以色列家的官長啊，你們要聽！你們豈不知道公平嗎？你們惡善好惡，剝我百姓身上的皮，從他們的骨頭上剔肉，你們吃我百姓的肉，剝他們的皮，打斷他們的骨頭，如切塊下鍋，如釜中的肉。到了遭災的時候，這些人要哀求耶和華，他卻不應允他們。那時，因他們所行的惡，他必轉臉離開他們。論到使我百姓走入歧途的先知，他們牙齒有所嚼，就呼喊說：「平安！」誰不給他們吃，就揚言攻擊他，耶和華如此說：

禍哉，這欺壓的城！悖逆，污穢，不聽從命令，不領受訓誨，不倚靠耶和華，不親近它的神。其中的領袖是咆哮的獅子，審判官是晚上的野狼，不留一點到早晨。它的先知是虛浮詭詐的人，祭司褻瀆聖所，強解律法。

其中的先知同謀背叛，如咆哮的獅子抓撕掠物。他們吞滅人命，搶奪財寶，使這地寡婦增多。其中的祭司曲解我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物，不分別聖與俗，也不使人分辨潔淨和不潔淨，又遮眼不顧我的安息日；在他們中間連我也被褻慢了。其中的領袖彷彿野狼抓撕掠物，流人的血，傷害人命，為得不義之財。其中的先知為他們粉刷，見虛假的異象，行謊詐的占卜，說：『主耶和華如此說』，其實耶和華並沒有說。這地的百姓慣行欺壓搶奪之事，虧負困苦和貧窮的人，欺壓寄居者，沒有公平。

耶和華在一日之間從以色列中剪除了頭與尾－棕樹枝與蘆葦－長老和顯要就是頭，以謊言教人的先知就是尾。

「看哪，以色列的領袖在你那裏，為了流人的血各逞其能。

「『現在，我們的神啊，你是至大、至能、至可畏、守約施慈愛的神；我們的君王、官長、祭司、先知、祖先和你的眾百姓，從亞述諸王的時候直到今日所遭遇的一切苦難，求你不要看為小事。在一切臨到我們的事上，你是公義的，因為你所行的是信實，我們所做的是邪惡。我們的君王、官長、祭司、祖先都不遵守你的律法，不聽從你的誡命和你警戒他們的話。

沒有聽從你僕人眾先知奉你的名向我們君王、官長、祖先和這地所有百姓所說的話。

當聽這話，雅各家的領袖，以色列家的官長啊！你們厭棄公平，在一切事上屈枉正直；以血建立錫安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。城裏的領袖為賄賂行審判，祭司為酬勞施訓誨，先知為銀錢行占卜；他們卻倚賴耶和華，說：「耶和華不是在我們中間嗎？災禍必不臨到我們。」因此，為你們的緣故，錫安要被耕種像一塊田地，耶路撒冷要變為廢墟，這殿的山必如叢林的高處。
