耶和華晝使日華照爍、夜使星月交輝、永定其例、海水澎湃、叱之使靜、厥名萬有之主耶和華。

主使日發光於晝、定月與星發光於夜、使海水洶湧、波浪翻騰、名為萬有之主、主如是云、

This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name:

The Lord speaks. He makes the sun shine by day. He orders the moon and stars to shine at night. He stirs up the ocean. He makes its waves roar. His name is the Lord Who Rules Over All.

Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord of hosts is his name:

It is the Lord who provides the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night, and who stirs the sea into roaring waves. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and this is what he says:

“ This is what the LORD says: The one who gives the sun for light by day, the fixed order of moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and makes its waves roar— the LORD of Armies is his name:

This is what the Lord says, He who gives the sun for light by day And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— The Lord of armies is His name:

Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar( The Lord of hosts is His name):

Thus saith Jehovah, who giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirreth up the sea, so that the waves thereof roar; Jehovah of hosts is his name:

This is what the Lord says: The One who gives the sun for light by day, the fixed order of moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and makes its waves roar— Yahweh of Hosts is His name:

Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day,[ and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts[ is] his name:

The LORD has made a promise to Israel. He promises it as the one who fixed the sun to give light by day and the moon and stars to give light by night. He promises it as the one who stirs up the sea so that its waves roll. He promises it as the one who is known as the LORD who rules over all.

Yahweh, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar; Yahweh of Armies is his name, says:

He who is the Portion of Jacob is not like these, for he is the Maker of all things, including Israel, the people of his inheritance— the Lord Almighty is his name. (niv)

For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name. (niv)

who made the great lights— His love endures forever.the sun to govern the day, His love endures forever.the moon and stars to govern the night; His love endures forever. (niv)

And God said,“ Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years,and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.God made two great lights— the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth,to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. (niv)

You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the parents’ sins into the laps of their children after them. Great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord Almighty, (niv)

Yet their Redeemer is strong; the Lord Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land, but unrest to those who live in Babylon. (niv)

The disciples went and woke him, saying,“ Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”He replied,“ You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. (niv)

And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars— all the heavenly array— do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven. (niv)

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth. For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away.They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end.Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. It was you who split open the sea by your power; you broke the heads of the monster in the waters. (niv)

you who call yourselves citizens of the holy city and claim to rely on the God of Israel— the Lord Almighty is his name: (niv)

The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon. (niv)

that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (niv)

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. (niv)

May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. Then all nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed. (niv)

“ As surely as I live,” declares the King, whose name is the Lord Almighty,“ one will come who is like Tabor among the mountains, like Carmel by the sea. (niv)

He divided the sea and led them through; he made the water stand up like a wall. (niv)

who sent his glorious arm of power to be at Moses’ right hand, who divided the waters before them, to gain for himself everlasting renown, (niv)

The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs.Why was it, sea, that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back? (niv)

Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God’s dominion over the earth? (niv)

For your Maker is your husband— the Lord Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth. (niv)

May he endure as long as the sun, as long as the moon, through all generations. (niv)

He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; he led them through the depths as through a desert. (niv)

Should you not fear me?” declares the Lord.“ Should you not tremble in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it. (niv)
