This is what the Lord says:“ Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord.“ They will return from the land of the enemy.

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. (niv)

Sheshbazzar brought all these along with the exiles when they came up from Babylon to Jerusalem. (niv)

Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. (niv)

“ Therefore say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.’“ They will return to it and remove all its vile images and detestable idols. (niv)
